I have gotten SEVEN pinnacle drops so far this week that all but one of dropped in my kinetic slot, which was ALREADY my highest slot at the start of the week, making all but the first of them (which was only a +1) and all the hours of work i did to get them basically WORTHLESS. How has this been such a contentious issue for so long and yet never been addressed?? It would literally be such a simple matter to just make it so that a pinnacle engram will never drop for your current highest slot(s) and it would immediately stop people from getting screwed over in the pinnacle grind so much. Most people I see in-game are at the pinnacle cap already but despite doing an average of 5-6 pinnacles a week for the last TWO seasons I'm still only ~1806 before artifact power with all my highest gear equipped because almost every drop I get each week has been for a slot that didn't benefit me.
