Cheaters in PvP
Name is all i need to put. Cheating is at an all time high again bungie. We need some communication from you bungie. We need a team on this, its ruining whats left of PvP.

2 RepliesThe only way to slow it down is to remove the lousy pc players who can't win unless they cheat. When were console only we didn't have as many cheats. The minute game opened to pc and crossplay well you see what happens.

2 RepliesEdited by Coal: 7/8/2023 11:36:50 PMI'm not sure where you're getting your "all time high" statistic, but it's not too far fetched of a claim, even if you are pulling it out of your -blam!-... the amount of sketchy players is one of the reasons I quit pvp. Personally, I wouldn't doubt you're correct with your "all time high" statement, but it's still a little goofy to make up stats.

I swear the weekends are the worst for cheaters cause bungie doesn't work weekends. (Also if you down vote this. Whats the link to your cheats?)

Its cheaters paradise . Bungie already admitted they wont do anything about it by doing nothing. So grab your favorite cheats and have at it.

7 RepliesNothing drastic will be done, it is what it is. Only the dumb and/or reckless cheaters will get caught. If a true anticheat ever comes out and is near bulletproof, D2 be already be dead and buried.

People are just finding out now that Battle Eye does nothing? I found out in s15 when I matched 40+ aimbotters.

12 RepliesBasics for you. People have been cheating in games since before they went online and will be well into the future when Destiny is just a footnote in a history book. Bungie already has a dedicated team dealing with cheating it is the SRT or Security Response Team. Long gone are the days of a lone programmer in a basement creating cheats. Now it is whole teams of programmers in offices making millions every year from creating and selling their products. ALL game studios spend fortunes creating or buying the latest anti-cheat systems but the cheat creators are constantly creating new cheats to bypass them. Then the studios spend more time and money in creating new anti-cheat systems or updating old ones to counter them.. this is a never ending circle. The last and best detection system is us. All online games have a report system and Bungie has a report form found on Bungie.net to inform their SRT team. Every day we see people kicking off about being banned on the #Help forum page and these are only the ones who think playing nieve, having a excuse, promising not to do it again or making a fuss will get them back in the game. The only true way to avoid cheaters is to never play a multi-player game ever again.
