Only 300 people completed the Salvage Treasurer Triumph
According to a popular stat tracker only 300 people have completed above mentioned triumph.
I got the treasure laden combatants 3 times in week 1. Since then i have 3 or 4 resets at the sonar station and have not seen them a single time. I know where and when they spawn. What is going on here? Is this bugged or by design?
We thought ruffians were bad, but at least we had "some" control of working towards the triumph. We could sabotage our match made fire team by throwing the engrams away from the ferry, or we could make 300 LFG posts for a seasonal activity to collectively play slow and inefficient in order to potentially spawn additional ruffians...
But the treasure laden combatants are a different animal. I don't mind a grind but this is just unreasonable.
Again... 300 people (0,0001 % of players) have completed this triumph (i believe you need 12 treasure laden spawns for the triumph?)

3 RepliesI used to be a serious triumph hunter but I’m done with being 100% completion now. Too much meaningless stuff that is insanely boring. Look at the fishing ones. Stuff that. If it was needed for the seal there would be more outrage.

An absolute terrible idea by Bungie. I just load in, complete one job and if the Treasurer doesn't spawn I leave. Shouldn't be this way but Bungie butchered this.

TRIUMPH. stats are more valuable to bungie, if barely anyone gets it done or partially done then that sends them a clear message that having some hidden rng spawn enemy you need to kill X amount of times is a garbage design and instead of wasting time coding useless garbage like that they should put that effort/time towards doing anything else that DOES matter Imagine how much work would get done if bungie devs would just NOT bother doing these pointless triumphs, setting them up, play testing the enemy spawn, etc. Would be better that's for sure, maybe they should put some of these people together and have them tackle the old old bugs/glitches that have been pilling up on their list of bugs/features to implement etc

The treasurers always spawn in the same place, theres a spot in each of the two versions, in the big main area room where you spawn near the rally flag point and over to the far right of where you spawn on the rig one where the broken crane goes up. There is a screen pop up message but its very easy to miss, I farmed keeping an eye on the radar in the direction of the spawn as well as looking at the screen. The pain is it can easily take 1-4 hours of farming salvage to get even one spawn so your luck and rng is going to be quite a factor. It took me 2-3 weeks probably doing 5-10 salvage runs a day to get 12.

I already created 2 topics on the feedback page, no response, theres a thread on reddit as well, no response, i hope to -blam!- god they shadow increase the spawn rate or just -blam!- put us out of our misery, this is a slap to the face of triumph completionists, we are a very small percentage of people, the triumph doesnt give anything, its like they are purposely creating annoying as stupid long triumphs just to frick us, HELP US PLEASE, WE BEG YOU

I don't care about triumphs not tied to rewards or titles -
Apparently, I have zero. I didn't even know they were a thing. Since they aren't connected to the seasonal title, I won't let it bother me that much. At least it isn't like the ruffians, which were connected to the title. However, given the rarity of the triumph and the fact that some people have never seen them, something probably should be done about how they spawn and/or drawing attention to their existence.

Edited by NEROS MADNESS: 7/6/2023 7:19:59 PMI had one at the start of last week. I wanted to get a second and ran salvages, a lot last week. I completed 27 salvage (that's a combination of normal and legendary), I finally got 1 at that 27th salvage... I haven't been back since.
