Twitter now requires you have an account to read Tweets. I shouldn't have to open an account at another company to read Bungie notices. Please provide notices in a more accessible manner. Thank you
Yeah, because it's really hard for the "community managers" to copy what is posted over there and paste it here. Wouldn't want them to hurt their fingers now, would we? Hmm, here is a solution for everyone across all platforms and forums. How about they put a little effort into the game and do what DE has done with Waframe. In your ship there is console/ Monitor that gives you info on everything that is taking place, update, lives streams etc... Problem literally solved.

I have been saying this for years. The Companies own website should be the primary location for information distribution. Twitter, redit, and all the others are ok to use, and should be used. But to not use the one source you control completely is ridiculous.
-
13 RepliesThey should just post it on their own, bloody, darn website. Mate. They should have NEVER needed Twitter for that.
-
1 ReplyAgreed. They should just post updates etc. on bungie.net
-
I started one in February. It got put in permanent time out a couple of months later, so I created another one. Then that one got put in permanent time out a couple of months later, too. Twitter & Musk can eat sh!t as far as I'm concerned.

6 RepliesI am with you on this one, I don’t have one either, and don’t want one.

3 RepliesEdited by Subversity: 7/4/2023 4:57:28 AMI've just learned that you can google "destiny 2 server status" and it will show you the three most recent bungie help tweets. It should appear as the third suggested topic in the google search results. I do not have a twitter account, and it works for me. It should work for you. Cheers! The days of it's over when the restraining order hits are gone. When she doesn't respond to the call walk away. It's over.

7 RepliesI have Twitter just for video game news. It's not like yah have to interact with the undesirables
-
Was just about to say this too. I'd like to minimize the number of internet hellsites I need to parse in a day.
-
You’re asking for WAY TOO MUCH. This is bungie Bungie has somehow gotten even worse after Sony bought em
-
You have to have an account to use the Bnet forums too. Plus, Bungie likes to ban people's accounts because they don't approve of feedback being received. On a outside forum platform that's not controlled by the corp receiving the feedback is safer for the consumer.
-
They can’t. Their own platform is just as broken as their own game! 🤣 What a joke. It’s beyond laughable now! 🤣 Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!🤣
-
I’m mad that they made an app and made a big deal about it just to say we’re going to announce on twitter
-
Agreed. 100%.
-
You would think that their app and forms would be first place you go to find info. Many times even when I refresh the app I don’t get the updates and see the patch notes and notifications from YouTube before I can find it on here. I did find a work around, I have to shut down the app and start it i it up again to get that info.

Check the subreddit /destinythegame

8 RepliesOl' Elon is gonna start charging people per Tweet at the rate he's going with things.
-
Yes, for what you say and because I despise Musk.
-
15 RepliesYou don’t need to https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/14449301101076 Or access help on the app
-
9 RepliesThere is a help tab that takes you to their support page. You can open the Twitter feed there if you follow a few menus. As of me typing this I can still view their tweets there without having a Twitter account. I’m just pointing out that the infrastructure already exists. So I don’t think it would feasibly be that difficult for them to change the landing page when you click the help option so that it’s easier to get to their Twitter feed. That way they can still use Twitter and it’s easier for us to view announcements in this app. Additionally they should add a box which has a green check mark or red square indicating when the servers have an issue or are down. Xbox support for example has had this feature for over a decade now, so I presume that is a feasible change as well.

the only choice to force change on destiny 2 is to stop playing the game entirely like curse of osiris. another situation like that would force bungies hand
