Constant Contacting destiny 2 servers
As of yesterday 07/01/2023 while on my sixth match of trials of osiris I started getting constant contacting destiny 2 servers but was not lagging at all, my connection was wired and solid. I decided to restart my network and the game but upon launching the game I was still getting contacting destiny 2 servers. I could log In but nothing would load leading to a weasel error. I've tried everything you can think of. What is odd is that I switched to my other account and could get on the game just fine. Does anyone know a fix?

I took an entire month fully optimizing my internet with a gaming router, cat 8 ethernet cables, a full solid copper coax cable, and completely optimized internet and router settings and I am STILL getting the contacting destiny 2 server crap and issues with certain UI interactions like deleting something or switching gear. Although not as much as I was and I haven't been having as serious issues as a lot of the people on the forums... but that is likely because I put my internet on steroids. The only solution I found is more of a band aid in the from of totally optimized internet... if you can't manage that just do some researching and I'm sure there's a few things you can do to help with your current set up to at least reduce the frequency of the errors. Open nat, port forwarding, hardwire with ethernet, make sure your wpa security settings aren't conflicting with your console or computer, have a good internet provider.. ect. What actually made the most significant impact was surprsingly enough the coax cable to the modem, the equipment your internet provider gives out is trash so i bought my own cable and shortend it to 15ft to reduce signal loss and made sure it was solid copper and not the copper coated stee to improve electrical current and wow that made the most noticeable difference out of everything i did. 35$ fricken dollars for the legit full copper cable but it was money well spent. Until bungie address their negligence, this is the way...

They are clearly maximizing profit with this game. Extremely noticable recently. They ask for more money for DLC and seasons. Meanwhile they have been testing the waters by reducing server amounts for D2 by a large margin. They are actively trying to find the sweet spot to barely keep the game at a playable state. That's the only reason that remotely makes sense to me regarding the server issues constantly as of recent. The engine or the games size definitely are not the issue when it comes to these error codes, downtimes and queues to enter the game. Really feels like they cut the server amount in half to save some money. And people keep trying to tell us that this game isn't abandoned and on life support LOL.

Bump. My hubs and I can't even get thru a Deep Dive without it kicking us at the last minute. Can't really get thru any simple activity, no matter where it might be. Hubs also got a Trials ban for being kicked back to orbit with error codes. (Usually Bee) Hell...We can't even make changes to our build without getting errored out. It's making it kinda frustrating to play. Most of the time, Bungie is awesome. (I know I'm about to get cabal pies for saying that). But we can't even stay in our character menu long enough to set up a build...Now THAT'S bad.

Yes, endless. It's the new game they have released, to ACTUALLY contact a server and when you do, you get weasel or baboon.

I get this when I log on and it does not bother me. I hace only gotten a few error codes.

1 ReplyIt's sad when the anti cheat software is punishing the honest players. Constant chicken and plum errors when battle eye client fails. No changes on my machine. Complete and utter bull the amount of error codes and server downtime for something we pay a lot of money for.

But, seriously though, it almost sounds like a ddos, but a ddos would knock you completely off line, like Charter.

2 RepliesDon't worry Bungie addressed stability issues in their TWID. They stated they are working on it and it should be a little better in a few months time, no promises though.

2 RepliesI recall some Bungie cultist on the forum, in a different post, saying "Its not Bungie, its you". When I proceeded to disagree with him, he threatened to kill me. Then all this stuff came out two days after from Bungie talking about their problems with servers. To the guy who threatened me, If you're reading this, look upon the forum and weep, then cope and seethe in silence for the truth is plain to see despite your threats of violence. If you got banned use this time to grow, but never forget I was right, and I told you so.

1 Replysimilar problem but mine says battle eye crashed, so I re verified my content worked for half hour then crashed again, so I uninstalled reinstalled worked for I'd say four hours but now it is crashing again I don't get it. id say try doing the steps I did but it still might not help.
