Not sure how bungie does it, but with every "improvement" they make to the the matchmaking gets worse and worse and punish players who don't spend there entire lives playing destiny. I'm not the greatest player by far but I've gone flawless and held my own in a fireteam plenty of times. Except for when I try to play a casual solo boot which they patted themselves on the back for "improving" and taking away freelance and absolutely crushes players by either pairing them with people who have never played a shooter before or facing them against a team who has never missed a shot. Unbalanced, terrible experience. Anyone at Bungie who worked on Trials improvements should immediately quit their job because they just down right suck at what they do.
Hope you fix it Bungie, it used to be a lot of fun yet you just keep dropping the ball and patting yourself on the back with downgrades. Fire the nerds that you put in charge of Trials fixes.

1 ReplySorry but I must admit I am getting fed up of these posts. Trials was created as a hard core pvp mode to challenge the best pvp players in the game. This has been the case since it was introduced by player requests back in D1 year one. The only skill based matchmaking in Trials is YOU deciding that you are good enough to play and win. The problem is that YOU (and others like you) expect Bungie to hold your hand all the time. You are choosing to go and play in the "sweaties" playground and expecting to go and play against easy opponents and win all the time.... then kicking off because you are playing against high skilled players. In fact if Bungie did add skill based matchmaking in Trials no one would go to the Lighthouse as on average in a skill based system you have a 50/50 win/loss rate so getting close to 7 consecutive wins is near impossible. Not everything in D2 is for everyone. As a wise man once said "if you can not take the heat stay away from the fire" and if you don't listen to that advise "play with fire and expect to get burned".
