All grenades should be evenly deadly. I don'l like double standards.

It’s not the trip mines there actually quite bad. yAS makes them enhanced so they are tougher to destroy and do a bit more damage. But that doesn’t deserve a nerf imo

1 ReplyHonestly, it takes a level of skill to use them since wall textures and geometry cause them to point in random directions. Not to mention, they visible and can be moved or destroyed. Even with ahemkara, they only deal 160 by comparison there are 3 melee options that ohk and that's not counting the 2 slide titan melees.

1 ReplyHow? You need a wall and an angle. People suck at geometry There's a bright red light that says "danger you dumb -blam!-" They cannot one-shot you from full health. Other grenades do less damage, but are way easier to use and not as situational. They've been nerfed so many -blam!- times already. Vortex and Scatter grenade exist.

Young ahamkaras make tripmines broken. Without them they are just like any other sticknade (too much range and a massive hitcone).

Trip mines are a cone that you can slide past fairly easily. I only really see their value in 3v3 scenarios but even then there are better options for hunters. Are they good? Yes. Overpowered? absolutely not.

I can’t remember ever being killed by a trip mine… I’m sure it’s happened, but at most two of three times

8 RepliesIts 160 damage once. Flux nade is 250 damage. Lightning nade is 122 damage 5x+jolt. Pulse is 6x 80 damage +jolt. Incendiary is 180 damage or instakill if thrown on an enemy. Tripmine is on the weaker side of all nades.

Agreed. All classes must wear an exotic to get 'overpower grenades' 🙃 lol. Funny thing is I play w them so I know how to play against them.
