Nobody was asking for the game to be harder. Nobody was asking for arc titan or solar warlock nerfs. Nobody was asking for champion spam in raids. A small number of extremely active, egotistical players who think they represent the fan base asked for these things, and Bungie, in their infinite stupidity, thought that those egotistical players represented everybody too. They do not. What you're seeing is someone like a streamer go out and say "this needs nerfed" and then Bungie nerfs it, and then everybody else comes in and says "wtf I didn't ask for this, why is this happening?"

Streamers have as much say in the game as you do. It has literally been 9 years of "change this" "oh wait, I don't like it, change it back"
