Aztecross’s Video sums up Immoral Business practices!
I don’t know about you but I’m wanting rage from all the D2 streamers.
This is just appalling.
I will not be buying Marathon, and I’m seriously considering watching Final Shape on YouTube.

Oh, don't forget to subscribe if you like 👍 There isn't a damn thing one single streamer has ever said since 2014 that the community doesn't already know or posted about before they make their precious videos 🤦♂️ Just ask Datto that helps sells this business BS pretending he "cares about the community" while supporting a business [b](that literally only cares about numbers, that is constantly lying to the player base face, that is constantly manipulating their fans to keep them throwing money at the screen, that doesn't give rats... about you being a customer while they shower him with gifts") among their other streamer buddies.[/b] Tell me something, what self-respecting human being supports a business like this because as far as I know, people that respect themselves and others don't go out of their way to advertise BS for any business. Call this post and me whatever the normal trolls want, it's just words. From where I stand, at least I have the balls to point out the truth. You can like streamers all you want because that is anyone's choice, but the truth here is, they have literally done more harm in gaming than anything else, and 99.99% of them are only looking out for this business and their wallet. Got to love the videos of them trying to sell new DLC or an exotic, way overhyping what they are trying to sell as "it's a must-have" while playing they are Vanna White.

I had grown tired of the grind, the nerfs to Titan (used to main that class) and the lack of PvP support. What I came back to was the worst campaign I have ever played in this game (Lightfall), more grind, removal of the PvP team (apparently, it existed) and another thing to add to my blacklist: Monetisation. If Bungie don't respond to Aztecross and take serious steps towards demonetising their game, I will not be buying The Final Shape and I will not be buying any more of their products, the same way I did with Blizzard (yup, no Diablo IV for me). Gotta' draw the line somewhere.

Everyone is saying that we can't expect Bungie to change because they don't need to listen to us. Do you guys not remember that D2 actually almost died in the beginning? People will actually leave and not come back after a certain point. I don't think every cosmetic should have to be paid for! I think we should be able to get good gear in the actual game itself and not through the Eververse store.

1 ReplyImmoral business practices... So here is something to concider with a game like Destiny which is nothing but ceaseless grinding... Everything has a cost. And sometimes the price you pay is time. Normally you spend money to avoid the time, you are essentially "buying time", not now things work in destiny. So the question you'll ask is "so what if I am buying gameplay with time? I have plenty of it." Ten years. How many of the people who play destiny every single day are better off today than they were ten years ago. Some? Definitely? A lot? Probably... But there are also tens of thousands of people who are just flat addicted to the game. Some of you spent your children's childhood playing this game. Some of you spent the last moments of a loved ones life playing this game. Some of you stopped having friends invite you over, stopped dating partners, because you were playing Destiny. I dare say a great many people have at least a hand full of things that they regret having missed just because they were a destiny player and fixated on the grind... The entire design of the game is based on immoral currency trap. From the very foundation it is an immoral design. Time is the most precious currency any person will ever hold, you can't earn more of it, can't steal it, can't buy it, the moment you are born is the moment you are most wealthy, each second that passes leaves you ever more in poverty, every step walked closes a hundred paths. Destiny is a game designed to rob you of the most precious thing you will ever own. Time. All the other currency grabs are insignificant compared to that. ... Destiny doesn't have to be like this. It could be fun. Rewarding. It feels ever more like there is no reason to play this game. And maybe there isn't.

I simply dont buy silver- ever if other want to it's their cash, they do as they want, but that's what's driving this those people I save my bright dust (the in game earnable currency) and get what I want, though I don't get everything, usually roll over 20k each season, and the ghost would have to be pretty cool to shack out the 2-3k bright needed to get the seasonal activites that you would have to buy silver to complete, I just don't do, yeah I get the weapon which is usually after the first go but that's free I still play to hang with my friends and we're about dungeons, raids and GM's

Who cares what some streamer is saying? Streamers also make money off of us. They contribute far less to Destiny than Eververse. Streamers are not inherently invested in making Destiny a better game for everyone. They are financially motivated individuals who create drama to make a quick buck. Heck, even the video caption is meant to grab your attention and create controversy. Stop giving streamers your time and money.

Nothing immoral about trying to make money when you a business. Gaming is a hobby for us gamers, a business for the devs. Listened to the vid and lmao. He stretched a lot of things to try to fit his narrative. Ex: No, d2 is not pay 2 win. His example of quicksilver doesn't help when the weapon is not the same as it was then; also, it was disabled a good amount of the time lol. Another ex: paying to skip the campaign isn't pay to win when you still have to do the campaign on 1 character to get that option. Currently, the micro transactions in the game fall into 2 categories: 1. cosmetic; 2. people that can't/ don't wanna play the game a lot, but still want levels to get season pass stuff. That's it. Which is fine.

TL:DW: Cross finally caught up with the rest of us and realized that Bungie is a corporation, and not your friend. They aren't gonna change, you have no power and if you want to start a movement to change things you'd be better off trying to sort Skittles in alphabetical order, it would result in just as much positive change.

You bring up some good points TripleF73, and I agree that the Black Garden may not stay among us for long. Something has begun to repair the schism torn by its destruction. Vex now flood the Garden channels to protect it. We must stop the weavers before they seal the Garden and begin to summon back its heart
