Bungie your hay day was halo and that’s about it destiny was good destiny 2 is a joke and not a funny one, so if you could refund us the time we wasted that’d be great.
It’s like people post on this have nothing better to do besides a select few.

I have the feeling Marathon might be good, but its gonna fail. This is a Rainbow Six situation. Destiny will never have the same quality again and their new IP will severely slow down after about 3-4 months.

1 ReplyMarathon and Matter will both flop.

It's wasting your time enough to complain and then continue to do wha tt you complain about. There is a very fitting word for this.

Well they already said its going to be a pvp/pve mixed together. Games like division type gameplay isn't my thing, I'll be passing on it to
-
pve is good with some questionable decision makinng (since start of season 0 treasure laden combatant spawns, boss health, nerf exotic murders) but PVP is just an uncontrolled chaotic ability/meta/anything goes mess. now marathon is purely pvp, yup games is already dead to me before it even launched

2 RepliesGood thing gamers have options: -You can play something else. -Finally touch grass or sand, if you live next to the beach or lake. -Go for a 120 mile bike ride in spandex...🤭 Is anyone really exited for Marathon? No, but like Kratos told Atreus: "Keep your expectations low boy & you'll never be disappointed...".
-
Bungie is effectively proving to everyone at every level that they are incapable of doing anything right anymore.
-
1 ReplyMarathons, opal fruits, jif. Everything gets butchered at some point down the line.

39 RepliesHow did you get to play Marathon? Oh that’s right, you haven’t.

1 ReplyThe talented devs that worked on destiny 1 and D2 forsaken have all left (Activision studios and talented former Bungie devs) Thats why now theres an untalented skeleton crew with absolutely zero passion and no understanding about what made Destiny so fun, working on the game. And it shows. Sadly theres still too many people addicted and still playing a bunch. Player numbers should completely die out considering the garbage content we get these days.Lazyness comes from comfort. They dont feel the need to try because the hamsters just keep running no matter how lifeless, empty and trash the provided content may be.

5 RepliesI mean that's a little harsh.. destiny 2 has definitely had it's great moments, as did destiny 1. My issue is that destiny 2 is currently in a terrible state and a developer's current game should be an advertisement for the next.. I can't see me buying destiny 3 currently.. I mean, I wouldn't buy marathon as I'm crap at PvP - to save the stalkers having to look.. I'll finish destiny 2, like others I'm guessing it'll be done after the final shape, but that's probably me done

49 RepliesEdited by TheShadow: 6/19/2023 7:24:25 PM1, Bungie has been gone for years, The only people left are people like Luke Smith that had no business at all being a lead for a sequel, and Dresstiny base game which was a huge disaster was 100% proof of that, and that alone explains why D2 is a disaster. (This business puts people that have no experience on this project) and they have for years. It's nothing personal towards Luke Smith, it's just an actual fact that he never had the experience in anything when it comes to gaming other than writing an article for Halo, which by the way was the only reason he was ever hired on for this business. This^ is the mentality you are actually dealing with when it comes to this business.
Dresstiny is a very poorly designed game, that majorly lacks in every single aspect of a game 9+ years later, and the fans think because of the gunplay from Halo, that "makes it a good game". Wrong! it's the only thing that kept this disaster alive. Without that, Dresstiny would have been dead years ago. Oh, and before the normal trolls come in showing how uneducated they are about D1 and this game. Luke Smith was put under Gavin's wing knowing he had (((no experience in anything at all when it comes to gaming.))) because his job prior to that was a gaming journalist. Bungie lied as usual about him designing VOG, when in fact Gavin was the lead, the concept art was done way before Luke started helping Gavin with the project, etc.. it was all laid out for him. And no, I will not play anyone's childish game on here, do your research, it's annoying how uneducated a lot of the trolls are about the game they play. As far as The Taken King goes, halfway through production, Luke Smith was removed to lead Dresstiny base game.
2, Compared to actual AAA gaming businesses today, their work is below average for a business being in business for 30+ years. It's been the same copy-and paste-work/development since 2014. I could see them having issues back when D1 was released given the fact that it was a new game and something new to them going from Halo to Destiny, but 9+ years later with a second game and it's really not any further than D1. HTH is that even possible to not evolve as a developer knowing they have been working on this project since 2007??? Yet, one of the employees had the never to call who lazy, when it's taking them almost a decade to add things that have been in gaming for 20+ years? 3, It is a joke, they are no further than the base game other than gimmicks, and using their streamers buddies to help sell DLC.

Edited by THE SARGE 01: 6/18/2023 11:08:13 PMOh man, been seeing a lot of threads locked this weekend. For the people who get hurt by words, the ones that hurt them most are the one that are true. That’s why you lock them up, apply Ninja Justice. When you have no point to argue, you default to censorship.

1 ReplyNo single gamer in the world could convince me that this is a good game.. regret spending my money on it.
-
Jokes are funny. I would say train wreck?
-
I agree, their heyday was Halo. I still enjoy Destiny, but man you can tell that Bungie has fallen so much.
-
Sigh a new low in whining.
-
6 RepliesSo your still gonna play marathon and D2 right?
-
I just take breaks if it pisses me off, 1 day, 2 days, even taken two weeks off. It’s not worth getting pissed about something you have no control over.
-
If you feel like you're wasting your time then walk away, the same goes for anything in life.
-
Just watched trailer for it looks terrible no thanks I'm going back to Call of Duty when this is all over they can have my money
-
Edited by Corrick II: 6/19/2023 5:54:15 AMThey're leaning hard into the running and shooting, with even cooler art direction. If anything, Bungie is being honest about their priorities and finally committing to their strengths.
so if you could refund us the time we wasted .
The majority of my Destiny play time has not been wasted. If you feel that your time had been wasted then that is a you problem and probably should have moved on the moment you started feeling that way.

The old pvp crew moved over a few years ago , Marathon should be a Stella game ?! With the people working on it and the money being pumped in to it is huge ! Destiny though is a sad sad state of a game it’s such a shame .
