Question about cross save.
So, I have all my data cross saved from Xbox, and I play on steam. If I were to disable cross save, and play on steam only, would that allow me to change my name for a second time because I’m not “playing on Xbox” anymore? It’s likely a stupid question but I’m trying to attack all angles here, as I’d be playing on steam as my main platform as opposed to Xbox cross saved to steam. I know I’d lose all my data.

Hi there! Name changes are not based on Cross Save. All players are given one name change. Once that name change is used, you will not be able to change your name until Bungie offers a path to change your name again.
