Since they nerfed the dropped rates on adept drops, I have received only 1 extra glaive. Farmed for hours and hours, and only 1 glaive dropped. You are far better off farming 7-win cards and turning them in, unless you're just going after engrams. They need to revert that change or noone is going to play after flawless once they figure out how bad the drop rates are.
Edit: won approximately 25 wins after flawless on a 7-win card, only got one to drop. I should have just gone flawless a couple more times and turned in 7-win cards.

3 RepliesEdited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 6/14/2023 2:04:33 PMAdepts aren’t worth it anyway. It’s a “oooo look what I have” trophy for people that care about what other players have and don’t have. The actual weapon’s performance difference is negligible, if even that. And some weapons that have adepts aren’t even great in the first place. Why would I care about haveing adept junk? Why would I care about having rare garbage? I’ll never understand why people place so much value on rarity. Rare just for the sake of it makes no sense.

I thought ppl played trials to farm casuals.

Trials after the new pools just isn't worth it either.

Or just go flawless multiple times and get 2 that way ?

4 RepliesDid you lose a match after flawless? Pretty sure it only drops on a flawless card.

I don’t think the drop rate got lowered, I think you just had bad luck. I had 3 glaives in a row drop but early last season I was farming one weekend and only got 1 drop after ~14 wins.

Yeah, the drop rate is actually pitiful. It took me roughly 10 games after flawless, with one or two games still being on a flawless card, to see a single drop. It was so bad that I actually thought it was bugged to not drop at all and was typing out a thread in between games when I finally got my first. I played before reset today and won 11 games. Pre-update, that would have given me on average 3 drops, possibly more 4-5 if I was lucky enough. Post-update, I got 0. I had to turn in my card 5 minutes before maintenance just to get something (Roll was meh) for my efforts. I gave Bungie the benefit of the doubt when I saw the reduced drop rate in the patch notes like the gullible fool that I am. Figured it'd maybe go from a 20-25% drop rate to maybe a 15-20%, so one in every 5-6 wins Instead, it seems like you'd be lucky to get one in every ten wins. If you have a good team, you're actually probably better off resetting your card and going to the Lighthouse over and over rather than staying on your card. I'm baffled a change as anti-player as this actually got pushed through to the live game. For pretty much anyone who used to play in the Flawless Pool for bonus drops, this change is a net-negative for you.

6 RepliesEdited by Desolator0: 6/13/2023 6:18:05 AMNobody in their right mind would farm for a weapon as garbage as a glaive, anyways.

Kujay- a know streamer put out the numbers in bungies recent twab the told us they where gonna nerf the drop rate for adept weapons after falwess. He played 60 wins after going flawless. Approx 110 games and got 16 glaive out of those 110 games. This 6.8 games per glaive so yess you are correct it’s almost just as effective to just play cards and win those.

1 ReplyThe glaive is not worth it anyways

Trials isn't worth playing anymore period. Since Bungie has the match making a complete mess. Only ones playing it now are the cheats and try hards. And they don't run 3 player teams they only run 2 player so they don't have to face real competition. Its shite and the rewards are dumb as it comes ,how about another dumb ship or wait for it ... a glaive lmao cool

54 RepliesI'm more annoyed with how difficult it is to go flawless, been playing since beyond light, haven't gone flawless once.

2 RepliesGit gud!
