We need a way to focus world drop weapons again
We had this feature with the Star Chart in season of plunder where you could focus for the specific weapon foundries via umbral engrams but now I feel we need this feature to return in some way.
We could maybe add a feature to Banshee so he could turn any prime engrams we acquired into focused drops based on the origin traits/weapon foundries. So as an example this would be helpful for weapons that have the “field tested” origin trait since they are typically world drops but the chances of getting one to drop is slim let alone getting a decent roll.

4 RepliesI really wanted the void waveframe that came last season. I think it’s dropped a total of 3 times for me in hundreds of hours.

5 RepliesOr at the very least, see a better drop rate for world drop weapons. I think I saw 4 Senuna in total last season. And this season, I wasn’t aware of the Glissando until one dropped in week 3.

I’m surprised Banshee doesn’t sell red borders for world drops and prior seasons. Would be cool if he had a small deepsight list you can purchase weekly.

World and dungeon weapons are just off my radar at this point because trying to get what you want from them is just the definition of unreasonable at this point.

This idea of focused weapons as random or controlled/time gated drops is ridiculous- I want to start using my new custom weapons and not spend the entire season chasing after blueprints and hoping for random drops - it’s already time consuming just leveling these things up to take advantage of the custom traits… This doesn’t work when the meta changes every season - we need a more efficient path… If you want us to still use random drops then have those random drops include weapon perks that can’t be customized… Again -something so simple made impossible by Bungie…

They won't add this until the final season of this expansion. That way you can't use your engrams to focus now and waste them after getting the red borders. Then final season you will have to farm a ton to focus world drops again.
