Lack of transparency and thoughtfulness from Bungie...yet again.

Why do I have to go to a third-party website (ShatteredVault.com) to get accurate patch notes? Your own website, bungie.net > Destiny 2 > News > Updates literally doesn't have the accurate patch notes from 05/23/2023. [UPDATE: The patch notes do exist under their "All News" section and in one of their TWAB's, as pointed out by other community members (thank you for that!), but not under their "Updates" section, where it "should" have resided.] Reason for my rant = I was attempting to farm for Neomuna deepsight weapons, from heroic patrols, only to find out after doing about 10 that I couldn't get a single Neomuna weapon; not a deepsight version, just a regular Neomuna weapon. So, went to Bungie's "update" webpage, and saw nothing about altered drop rates. Go to Reddit, and people are saying you can't get them at all anymore (which obviously was misinformation); but upon further research, I found a post on reddit that said "was in today's patch notes" from 13 days ago. So, I search Google for Destiny 2 patch notes, and start navigating to third-party websites, in the hope that I can find said information. Low and behold...it was given in ShatteredVault.com's patch notes. Again, why do I have to jump through so many hoops to find valid transparent information? Like seriously...this is pathetic. Then on top of that, to get my point across, there is no direct agency contact method; but rather a forum post to get roasted by all of the trolls on the forums, and not have a single Bungie employee review or look at it. I'm getting quite close to saying goodbye to this company that I once loved and cherished. You have to stop treating us like this...just be transparent with your information! I don't agree with the decrease in drop rate from heroic patrols, as that was one of the only seemingly worth-while farms to do. It is clear that you want to limit people getting deepsight weapons, but this just feels wrong. You already have to do the following to obtain desired rolls from them: •farm ridiculously low drop rates to get 5 patterns for a specific weapon •use farmed materials to craft said item •go level it up to level 20-30 (depending on if you want to equip a memento or not) •then reshape the weapon to have the desired traits...like, you're killing us. This is just too much farming. I know it is a common-thought that making people work for something forever gives them the drive to get it, but if you'd ask the masses...it's actually the opposite. Most people that I know that quit games, with heavy RNG reliance, are due to them not getting the items that they want after hours, weeks, months of farming for it; only to not get it. Take a look at your 1% community, most of which have nearly everything in the game, very rare titles and triumphs completed, loads of crafted weapons; and guess what, they are still playing! Not because they just want to keep farming their face off to "get" something, but because they love "using" the thing that they got, and showing others it's potential. Just rethink some of your strategies...please.
