I actually really liked 4’s Infection the best. It’s just a small touch, but having an actual model for the zombies adds a lot to the game mode.

The obnoxious filter you couldn’t remove kind of killed it for me. Plus, weren’t zombies forced to use melee? Like, you couldn’t even alter game settings to allow zombies to use weapons. Actually, now that I think of it, weren’t, like, half of the game settings hidden? It made it impossible for people to make cool infection gametypes with all the unnecessary limitations. Looking like a zombie man wasn’t worth removing features. Halo 4’s Infection was a solid 0/10: ugly filter, somehow less functionality than infection in Halo 2

Yup. You didn’t get to choose the zombies weapon.

I liked the filter, personally. Added to game feel. No idea about the settings, though. I never really messed with custom modes in any of them.

The filter was cool for a bit, but after about 5 minutes the way it restricted your vision just made me nauseous.
