The difference is that the core vendors are around all season and you rank them up throughout the season. Iron banner only appears a couple of times per season and you don't get the same opportunity to level him up.

That really should apply, I agree. It just makes sense. It was an awesome implementation, especially after you've reset a ton and get double triples to mess with. PvP and PvE rolls on one weapon so I can minimize vault space? Yes. If the space is such a concern (with the exception of old weapons where coding can't be changed safely) there should be something in this game to get that multiperk possibility on everything from crafted weapons to vendor drops. It just seems downright logical with the challenges this game faces. I keep seeing the vault space thing that even Bungie has acknowledged, and added extra slots, yet they do little else to help that. It sucks though lately. It seems like they changed it to be random. Last season I reset Crucible like 7 times I think? I know it was at least 6. This is usually where double triples come in, but it was randomizing between one, two, and three perks, between colums three and four instead of being steady, like it was before. But since its not Marathon, expect it to just get worse. This company couldn't care less about Destiny 2. Its just the side project while they do microtransaction Marathon.
