Destiny 2 is simply too big

In a time where every game is 30 gbs or above, destiny 2 being almost 100gbs more than that at 119gbs is in arguably unacceptable. On consoles like the Xbox series s/x you need a storage device that costs as much if not more than the console itself at $400 or higher to get a first party internal storage device which are the only ones that work for Xbox just to install Xbox series x/s optimized games. So the combination of destiny 2 being optimized so poorly that it is now too big and bungie not giving any Xbox user the option to install the less demanding but still oversized Xbox one version of the game instead of the Xbox series x/s optimized being required too even start installing the game. If games with much much more content than destiny 2 has (due to them not removing it to try and squeeze more money from their fan base but still keeping the storage size the same) can lower sizes of their games because of it being too demanding I know bungie can too [spoiler]Moderator edit: This thread has been updated with tags that are more appropriate.
