Please explain to me why Bungie decided to nerf, yet again, the least used sub class in the game? There is nothing about Arc Strider that is redeeming. You nerfed skip nades, twice or what is three times? Nerfed tempest strike, which at the time when the subclass tree was different was almost never used. Nerfed tempest strike again post subclass tree redesign. And now you have nerfed the super into the ground. Most attempts to block end in a "misadventure" death. The overhaul to Raiju's makes the exotic pointless. It's bad enough the super is the easiest to out run, which made it's only redeeming quality the ability to use it defensively. It also seems as if Blink has gotten a nerf as well. You used to get two blinks consecutive followed by a slight cooldown, now it's one blink with a cooldown.
Before you all jump in with the "get good" comments, I'm not the best player by any means but I'm far from the worst. I have stuck with this subclass since it's introduction and have always found a way to make it work through all of the nerfs. I stuck with it through the void, solar and stasis seasons and held my own just fine. Even now I am still making small tweaks and adjustments trying to find a way to make it successful again, but so far it just flat out sucks. Are there any ArcStriders left and if so please tell me if you have found anything that helps the super even be mediocre again.

Awwww...upset that your Super got nerfed and you can no longer defect 100% of damage and rampage for 20 seconds? LOLOL. Welcome to what Warlocks got screwed over with years ago. Enjoy.

1 ReplyI am a arcstrider main and still make it work. Ofcourse it’s Easy’r on other subclass but that’s what bungie wants they wants other subclass to shine. Arcstrider has been meta for some moments and sadly it’s been hated immediately across the board. So it’s now kinda in a sleep state. And yess the super wifs a lot and you get killed using it. But that’s just something you have to life with bungie is not gonna change that. And blink works as intended they have made a visual add to tell you when blink is ready. If you blink to quick they will take you’re slide away. Bungie consider this a bugg but they don’t have it on there priority list to fix it. So because it’s so little used they to see a need to do something about it. I have stuck with this subclass and not gonna change it. I love the class especially with blink addition that it got. You just have to accept that it’s a d category subclass because that’s what bungie wants. If you have questions about how I make it work I’m happy to share. I’m definitely a above avrg player in pvp hope this helps

5 RepliesArc 3.0 for hunter and warlock were very disappointing. Rip arc web and damage resist dodge.

How was it nerfed? I've used it a ton over the years and didn't notice any recent changes

1 ReplyFirst Time? Look at dawnblade lol. I think it has to be the true worst super in the game. You can outrun it.

Dude, I love Arc Hunter, but I don't play Arcstrider for this reason. The super is garbage. I throw the pole and I'm done. As for blink, I never was a fan. I just love the fact I can punch EVERYTHING to death and with this season's artifact mods it very strong, at least in PvE. It enabled me to solo flawless the new dungeon. As far as PvP goes, if I use Arc I just put on Liers Handshake and slap Titans for fun.
