Eruption Sucks!
Why switch the game mode? Eruption sucks. Now it’s just people camping and team shooting. I tried three games, left them all. So boring, guess no more iron banner for me and my group.

Really? I love it. Most of my matches have been fast and out there (had one slow one on Bannerfall, that wasn’t fun). It also seemed to break whatever matchmaking issues I was having until yesterday. Was only going to do a match or two to finish out my last challenge, and ended up playing until I got the shader. Eruption seems to always be a good time when it pops up. I would’ve enjoyed Fortress too, but the exploit would’ve likely worked in there too.

I actually prefer Eruption over all other game modes.

3 RepliesIf someone’s camping then just stay away from that part of the map. Then they will just be a suicide bomber with nobody to detonate by. Eruption is fun if you can run and gun. You also get abilities and supers a lot faster, what’s not to like?!?

I love it. That’s an understatement. Wish there wasn’t a glitch in control because that is my fav, but I’ll take this over that cabal one.

Weird game mode, it reminds me of a young kids soccer game where the mass follows the ball round.

This was probably the best option. Control was broken because of the khepris glitch. They disabled the exotic but that didnt work since it didnt take the exotic off, it just stops others from using it themselves. Anyone wearing khepris aftering it got disabled were still able to use it a break iron banner. They couldn't change it to fortress since it still had to do something with zones and that might break that too. Rift is out of the iron banner rotation so it cant be that mode. Eruption fortunately and unfortunately was the only game mode that khepris wouldnt break.

It punishes players that run other players. I hope this bug doesn't affect the Control playlist on Tuesday, reset.

3 RepliesInstead of fixing the Control points to not take damage from Khepri's Horn they changed the mode and disabled Khepri's Horn. #Bungie moment/"fixing things."

I agree. Eruption punishes you for actually getting kills and helping your team. Should've just been clash instead.

5 RepliesYou don't enjoy 6 people having wall hacks on you and a timer before Bungie kills you???? This is a Bungie preferred gamemode. If no one can kill you Bungie will. Everyone should have a 1kd and 50% win ratio.

The gamemmode is super boring. It just makes players sit in the back until they have 5 kills. Super annoying.

Much better than control… I had 5/6 wins, in control 1/6… Because the objective in control is too complicated for much players 😤
