Don't bother with focused decoding, random decoding has dropped me 64+ nearly every time

Sorry, but it seems to be working as intended. Bungie has been using gambling and addiction mechanics since the beginning, and people have fallen farther and farther into the hypnosis so it's even easier to make them dish out huge amounts of currency (in game or real) to get things. Your story is the same that I've read from a bunch of people. Absolute crap rolls are the norm. And if the player tries again, then bungie wins. Destiny has become a game that should really only be played for sh!ts-and-giggles. There is no longer anything worth chasing, power is capped, exotics are nerfed (or bugged to he!!) and the game play depends on the mood of the servers. Too many symptoms of a developer that has abandoned their own game.

Did five yesterday (cheap focusing) stats were low, discipline mod on, and was getting 61~ 63 and less than 10 in discipline.....they know folks want spikey rolls and yet seem to double down on the garbage even distribution rolls The system is jacked

Don't waste your resources focusing. You can get high stat armor just by decrypting the engrams without focusing. I recently decrypted two such engrams, and I received 2 armor pieces with good distribution. One had 68 and the other had 70.

I agree, they should be giving players refunded materials for the issues caused from this, especially now that it's been disabled

Yeah I got a 63 stat Wormhusk Crown. Even though I used a Recovery Armorer ghost mod, it rolled with 8 Recovery. Pretty disappointing, despite the last 2 patch notes saying they should have decent stat rolls now.
