Full Focus Fishing IS NOT WORKING
Checking the request from the season, they say ANY Fish at max level focus. I just stayed like much time at MAX Level even getting 2 exotic fish + legendary and a tons of rare fish and I got 1/25 like this is not moving at max level.
It's very clear the request get any fish at max level and its not working for me.
Any information from Bungie???? it's already a boring activity staying like much time typing "E" and u get frustated because your season request is not working.

1 ReplyPublic events need to NOT reset Focused Fishing. It's ridiculous that you spend dozens of bait and 20+ minutes just for a single event to wipe it all out instantly.

So I encountered the same last night and turning to Google showed people had some success getting around the bug by changing their subclass. What worked for me was tracking the challenge, catching a fish on bonus, quickly pulling my ghost to see if it advanced, then switching to a new subclass if necessary. Someone said the bug only allows you to advance if you are on the subclass that you were when you caught your first ever fish on bonus. That was actually the case for me. When I switched to Arc, it worked. Hope this helps!!!!

Find a fishing location in destinations that says "Exotic Fishing", not just "Fishing".

Seeing the same here. Spent 100+ bait at a full focus exotic location and pulled 0 exotic fish. Meanwhile im seeing others pull 2-3 when its not even half way done

Needs a buff or prevent the fishing area from despawning from public events.

The last time I got to full focus I ended at 20 of the 25. I had been at full a couple times prior though. Haven't been to full focus since then so I still need the 5.

The challenge isn't catching at max focus. It's catching in the pond which has higher activity (the one mentioned if you look on the bait in inventory). If you still not getting it to count, try changing your light to strand. I got nowhere till I tried that advice from someone on reddit, now I've completed really quickly

I get all sorts of green/blue tier fish while the focus is at its highest. Purple or gold, not so much

I've caught a couple at full focused and am still 0/25 Also, that whole system sucks. more times than not i waste like 30 pieces of bait and when there is one legendary catch left to max the bar, or as soon as it gets maxed a damn public event comes in and ruins it. That whole bit needs a rework. especially being tied to upgrades

Agreed. Not one single exotic, but it says I did. I was at focused for about 15 fish the other day and nothing.
