Error code Broccoli after building new PC

Hello guys, I am being plagued by driver crashes when playing Destiny 2 on my rtx 4090 fe. I have stress tested all my components and none are displaying any signs of a potential problem. The issue only occurs when playing Destiny 2. In windows event viewer I get multiple errors when I crash, the errors I am getting are in the link on the post. The error it displays in event viewer all have to do with nvlddmkm not being found. I have done multiple clean installs of my graphics drivers and tried multiple order drivers (as far back as over 1 year ago) and all did not help. I have tried to reinstall the game and also verifying my game files on steam but nothing has helped. Even tweaking ingame settings does not help. Sometimes I can go hours without crashing and other times it happens withing 15 minutes. Hopefully someone can help me, it is my favorite game and now I am unable to play it and enjoy it properly without the frustration of the crashes. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

  • Exact same issue. I'm getting my PC replaced because of it just to make sure. I've got the Corsair Vengeance i7400, a very solid PC. I have tried literally everything possible since I got it 5 months ago but it seems issues are only getting worse, and it's only with Destiny 2. Like you said, every 15 minutes or once every 4-5 hours. Other times my PC will have a heart attack basically - my monitors turn black, it becomes unresponsive, and my fans go max blast until I force shut it down. But again, only when I'm playing Destiny. I've played many other games for even longer periods of time with zero issue. Even ran a graphical stress test for 2 hours straight and it did just fine.

  • That can be caused by OC, undervolting, bad VRAM, overheating, bad RAM, third-party apps (like iCUE, Razor Synapse etc), bad clusters, undersized or faulty PSU, bad cables...
