Nah they should have never had the flawless pool in the first place. Sink or swim.

Here's a better solution just axe flawless in general. Because who gives a rip about it. I hasn't meant anything in years because of carrying and account recovery (d1). Plus it causes more problems than it helps.
-
Plenty of people care about it clearly. You just don’t like feeling left out and want participation trophies.
-
Nah not really there's a growing group of people that would like flawless in general gone. You are correct it is small but none the less it exists. Also, how's it a participation trophy? I thought we want people in trials not gatekeeping them out?
-
Nothing is gatekeeping people out of the play list. Out of flawless sure that shouldn’t be for everyone every weekend. There is plenty of non flawless loot in the playlist. Every adept weapon has a normal version.
-
Yes if you win that's the complaint. Also your "but there's non flaw loot" point is garbage. The only time you get loot is ranking up that's it. You can say whatever you want in regards to flawless but I still stand by bungie removing flawless in general.
-
I understand your extremely biased petulant and childish view of “ if I can’t have it no one should”. I’ll agree to disagree with you on that. But I do agree everyone should get more rewards more frequently, engrams should should be more frequent and the cost to focus them should drop.
-
Ah yes goes to insults when he's wrong welp we're done here because clearly you're not listening. Enjoy your trash dead mode
-
Articulate an actual reason for flawless to go away. Other than the fomo of players that cannot achieve flawless.
-
This -blam!- mode is going to sink or swim. Just watch.
This -blam!- mode is going to sink or swim. Just watch.
All the changes they have made to trials are to try to retain bad players so the mode doesn’t die. The problem is they give an inch and you want a mile. Freelance, flawless pool, the new matchmaking to prevent card resetting. It’s all to try to solve an impossible problem, not everyone is meant to go flawless. I preferred season 15 I didn’t even mind freelance and the flawless pool it just made for a free flawless every Sunday. They made it too easy now every .8 thinks they deserve it.
-
Yeah I don’t agree with how you’ve framed any of this. But I’m not going to try and change your mind, so carry on buddy.
-
Well we can agree to disagree on the perspective as typically neither of us are likely to change our mind. But bungie making the changes for bad players is a fact, the playlist dying without a saturated population is also a fact. We have seen it before the bottom falls out then the middle falls out then it’s all the top % until even top 10% aren’t good enough to go flawless.
-
That would be a lot better than what it is now. Now anyone who isn't great is removed from the main pool so it's harder than just putting everyone together and ignoring parameters.
-
Well I like the idea that flawless is more difficult for everyone to achieve. Although it looks like 30% of players that played this weekend went flawless which is right around bungie said they wanted. Going flawless should feel special not like an expectation for every player. People feel entitled to it that have logical reason to expect it. A 0.8 with 1 previous flawless writes a whole rant after not going flawless in 20 matches.
