Much of the armor in our collections is marked with this even though it is identical in everyway. This restriction makes no sense when there is no longer any specific solar, arc or such inclination to them.
Sure I could transmog the gear's look onto another piece of armor but why waste a transmog slot when I could just draw the original out of my collection. It's not a collection if I can never use it.

I get that this is annoying but honestly at this point in time just let us craft all the weapons. We can all craft the rolls we want and we can delete the "potential" god rolls we hold on to for seasons on end.

Nothing is beneath Bungie

I honestly think for the weapons there should be a system to "save" our favorite rolls to the collections so we don't have to bog up our storage with our collectors weapons we keep simply cause we can't get them anymore.

2 RepliesSure, but it should be a collection roll and just like exotics and be generally terrible. We shouldn't be making game decisions based around people who "somehow deleted" items they need/should've kept. That's an entire rabbit hole of a subject we should really leave alone.

Why does it bother you so much to use transmog?
-
Yes!!!! If we obtained something it should be recorded, and we should be able to get it again.

This Could save vault space

Hopefully, once Bungie goes to the 1-100 Player level power system, everything becomes usable. Imagine all Items in collection ( everything) is simply thrown back into the loot pool ( so the stats system if updated ) .. or just let us pull out the gun the way it is ( old perk system ) and use them.

It's not going to let you retrieve specific stat rolls because 1) that would completely nullify the need to ever focus or grind for armour, and 2) I can't even begin to imagine how many unique stat rolls there are for every individual armour piece. It's not a waste of a transmog if you actually want to use that armour's appearance.
