Ghosts of the Deep Gamebreaking Bug!
Was doing the last boss of the dungeon when the deepsight bugged out and I was unable to see which runes were lit up nor was able to deposit any vestige into the runes. This is gamebreaking since I was almost done doing solo flawless and had to wipe.

For anyone still struggling with this, I have a long-shot theory for one thing that may trigger the bug. Right after DPS, stay in the main arena until the boss summons the moths. This may be something that triggers the transition into the next full cycle. The one run where it finally stopped glitching for me I stopped escaping into the water caverns immediately after DPS. I had been doing this to regroup and let my abilities recharge. This could possibly prevent the boss from using the moth attack that starts the next full cycle and causes some sort of sequence break. Or, my theory is bogus nonsense. One of those two things for sure.

Me and my group were having this same issue multiple times today. We would get the boss health down, then when we got to the phase to put the vestiges in, it wouldn't let us. We wiped and tried again, and same thing. Once the boss got low, we weren't able to deposit the vestiges into the runes. I also noticed the second time prior to picking up the vestiges, using the deep sight wouldn't show any lines connecting them, and there were any green circles in the ground.

This just ruined a run for my group. The bug is still in the game after six months.

Wanna know something funny? This is STILL a thing!!! If there was a legendary shard exploit this -blam!- would be patched within the hour. But a bug that literally keeps you from completing end game content gets shelved for months at a time. I've lost all faith that Bungie can maintain this game. And honestly, it feels like they just don't give a damn that it has daily issues. All in for Marathon! That's the motto at Bungie.

2 of my solo flawless attempts got killed by these stupid bugs because bungie is incompetent at their job. best to wait a few months before they patch the dungeon. attempting it next season might be a better idea

Similar issue. we are killing the knight on respective plates and the symbols are not appearing.

1 ReplyHaving the same problem here, ruined all my attempt to flawless, for my experience and a lot of try, the bug was always below the 50% of hp, every phase under the 50% have some probability to bug, it appen to me once every 3 run, i just stop playng the dungeon waiting for a patch

1 ReplyThis only happened to me when I was walking a new guy through it. He thought it would be a bright idea to kill one of the side lucent majors before I had finish setting up all the deposit stations. He came back, tried to deposit, and wouldn’t you know it, he couldn’t because they weren’t finished. Afterwards, when I did finish the last one, we went back got our buffs, tried to deposit, and still no worky. I think if you pick a vistige up, and die before you are able to deposit. Or if you pick it up at all, before you have finished setting it up. The game still thinks you are I. The state where you cannot pick it up. I think this, because if at all you pick up, die, and go back to that same lucent hive. The symbol doesn’t respawn. So my theory is if you pick up and die with the buff and you aren’t able to deposit, the game still thinks it is unable to deposit, therefore all of them are unable to deposit. Or maybe the game assumes you have “finished it” and moved that one to the next rotation. Meaning it would be out of sync. Though I could be wrong, as is this is just a theory.
