I'm going to start this off by saying that Trials has never been the best, but in my opinion, its been at one of its worst points since its re-introduction into Destiny 2. Why am I saying that? Main Ingredient, Felwinters, Dunemarchers, Cloudstrike (I know, I'm sure many people have talked about it and its ability to easily wipe out a whole enemy team.), and many more other known "meta" weapons, but the most annoying of them all? The Immortal, I believe it was last season (I wasn't able to play much) that the ability to farm The Immortal (Adept) after going flawless occurred, and yes, this has happened before, in the exact same way with Shayuras Wrath and its Adept version. People could easily get the god roll, and even after nerfing it, it was (and still is) a truly annoying and difficult weapon to go against, just like the exotic sniper: Cloudstrike. I know, I will be getting criticism about this post, so hi cloudstrike mains, its been fun dealing with you wiping my team in 5 seconds! So, whats wrong with cloudstrike doing this you may ask? Now, those of you who actually read the hot fixes, feel free to correct me on anything I get wrong, but Cloudstrike can be a very big issue for those who are actually trying to go flawless and have to deal with The Immortal and its wife Cloudstrike who of course has the ability to one tap the entire enemy team with the right precise hit, now I may not be the smartest when it comes to destiny weapon knowledge but I know for a fact, that Cloudstrike is nothing like its siblings (Thunderstruck, Trinity Ghoul, and others like them.) so, I suggest a nerf to the radius the lightning strike has when getting a precision hit in pvp. Now, throwing those two aside, Main Ingredient... I can already hear the hate mail coming. SO, how might Bungie deal with this? By giving players a second opportunity to get this god roll annoyance? By introducing another weapon just like it? No, not either of these. I know, I've been saying that all of these weapons need nerfs, but you cannot say I'm wrong, unless you really can and have really good evidence that is and I'm sure most of you do, but, Main Ingredient, (not sure if this has been nerfed either, but I honestly don't care.) needs, and deserves a nerf, a big one, I can also say the same for felwinters. I say, both need a damage nerf, and a nerd to all of their stats in general, don't feel like getting specific as you may have already noticed, so, I will also say nerf Dunemarchers, an exotic that truly does deserve a nerf.

3 RepliesFelwinter’s is barely any different than most other aggressive shotguns at the moment. Cloudstrike is a problem at some points and I think reducing that radius is probably the right move if they’re going to nerf it. Immortal got a slight nerf now, but I’d hold off on any additional stuff until we get the Agg SMG nerf. Even after that the zoom normalization is going to hurt it’s strength compared to other SMGs. Main Ingredient got hit really bad to the point that it’s worse than most other options for Precision Fusions on console especially. Even if they did nerf Main Ingredient, Epicurean is already here and just as strong as Main Ingredient pre-nerf. It’s just that not many people got the god roll or grinded out the red-boarders to craft it. Overall, yeah there’s a lot of pain points right now. Even Monarque still feels oppressive. It’s never going to feel perfect tho
