Last wish deepsight grind statistics

I finally have escaped kali, and got all 40 deepsight drops (I’ve had no life the last 2 days, oh well…..) Anyways, here’s what I’ve learned: All in all, it took me almost exactly 300 drops to get all 40, which is about a 13% drop rate. This lines up with it being a 1/5 chance for a weapon drop to be a deepsight [8/12 * 1/5 = 13%]. Additionally, it seemed like my progress didn’t slow down when I started to complete guns. From my experience, it seems that if you roll that 13% drop, it will always be a new deepsight weapon, and if something would have rolled a deepsight but you have it already, it goes into a weapon you don’t have. Also, for kali farming, it was considerably more efficient to do challenge runs. Kali only registers death when damage phase starts, so both challenge and cheese strats are time locked to the damage phase (as well as orbit and everything else). When I timed it, cheese runs took a bit over 2 minutes, and challenge runs took 3-4 minutes for double loot, so on average, challenge runs are faster. Granted, cheese runs give more checkpoint completions, giving more deepsight progress and seasonal engrams if you’re into that, plus it’s even more brainlessly easy, so it’s not all bad. Other random tidbit, tyranny of heaven for whatever reason uses resonant alloy to craft and not harmonic alloy. Do with this information as you will, these are just things I thought would be nice to know before I started this grind.
