its not about if it makes sense but if it fashions correctly because yeah hunters couldve gotten altair or any of the other assasins but it wouldnt look correct because they dont have a trench coat warlocks do hence why huntersgot Kassandra/alexios from Odessey. same thing with the playstation crossover it was easier to do the ghost armor set for warlock because the way the outfit is designed already with the robes it wouldnt fit on hunter and would look like a unique samurai armor.... so again its not about whether it functions correctly but fashions correctly and if you really want samurai armor on hunter...... Oh hell no. Don't you take away my assassins creed set. How dare you. Also.. you do know what samurai look like... right? They quite literally have armor that looks similar to warlock robes in the first place, sometimes literally wearing robes. Samurai aren't ninjas.
