Perhaps you need to have the grapple grenade pop the noble rounds instead of attaching to them? Or, conversely, just turn Lumina off in strikes until you get it fixed. I don't know but you have shut off Telesto many times over the years for far less than breaking strikes, dungeons, and raids, so not sure why you haven't fixed this bug with Lumina and strand.
Strikes like the Scarlet Keep, which have exotic quests tied to them, should not allow people to speed run past the necessary part of the strike for the speed run. When someone speed runs through the part just prior to the elevator, they put you into joining fireteam multiple times in a row, which makes it impossible to kill the high conductor like you are supposed to in that strike for the Symphony of Bones quest.
I do not think that people should speed run strikes when it interferes with an exotic quest, or the ability of newer players to experience strikes and participate fully in them instead of being pulled through by someone rushing through. Newer players are more economically important than long term players because they have more monetization potential through various avenues than longtime players. Thus, at least basic strikes and possibly even playlist strikes should have the "Joining Fireteam" effect reversed to pull people who run ahead back to the rest of the group. If this interferes with people speedrunning, they can form a fireteam to speedrun with. If someone uses this to hold up a strike maliciously, people can just leave the strike and find a new one.
Ultimately, this benefits new players and new player retention much more than it inconveniences experienced players. New player retention should be something the entire community cares about for a wide variety of obvious reasons, like community diversity, and overall community size, as well as being economically wise for Bungie.
The speedrunning, while it has been something in the game for a long time, should probably be put to a stop in the easiest level strikes, and the simplest way to do this is to change how the "Joining Fireteam" effect works in those easiest of strikes.
