It's marathon. The trailer for it was superb but Bungie is well known for building hype so we'll see.

There's lots of bits out there to prove Matter is Marathon. All the Devs who had redacted as their current job title, now say Marathon, there's no more redacted devs, they're all on Marathon. The website is marathonthegame, same as destinythegame. Matterthegame was taken in 2018 but made available again 2 years later. Marathon lead Chris Barretts wife tweeted 'Matter looks great lol' after the reveal. Aztecross & several other creators applied for jobs in marathon & matter & where told there's only 1 game. Pete Parsons said in 2015 they'd begun work on their game for life after destiny. In 2020 he said that project was still being worked on and would release before 2025. He said last Xmas that everything was still on schedule for release before 2025. Destiny's original reveal was 9 months before it's alpha, then soon after a beta & release, Marathons reveal said it's a way off release & the alpha will be a way off but not miles away. Leaks that have been 100% correct, said there's a trilogy following FS in this D2 game, and there's potentially a new game penciled in for next gen console release in 2027/27. Then after yesterday's FS reveal, I think on this websites press page it says 'revealing FS & what's next in D2', the key being 'in D2'. Just last week bungie sent out a survey asking players if they'd play a new destiny game, that's not something you do on a game you've already built, you do this before you start, it lines up with the above info given the Devs will be free once marathon releases. There's other bits like they're starting work on new gambit maps later this year, adding in-game lfg with FS, saying commendations have a way to go etc all suggest this games going nowhere. The Devs who build the big games, from OG marathon, to halo, to destiny, have been their for many years & they're all on Marathon. It all lines up that Matter is Marathon.

I didn't like it in the division don't like battle royals so guess idc about it.

Matter is Marathon , or Division 3 has I call it Now after Marathon flops because they made a PvP game dispite havihg a mostly PvE fanbase, they might put the A team back on Destiny and make a 3rd one , but its years away from reality

I rally hope Bungie is not going to make Destiny 3. If Marathon is going to be a Live Service game and Bungie makes also Destiny 3, they should keep alive and kicking 2 Live Service games at the same time. They're already struggling with just one. I don't know... doesn't sound a good idea to me.
