It is like night and day. I watched a YouTube stream video on the new DLC before diving into it myself. The streamer was so excited saying how awesome the new DLC game is. Then I come to the forum to see how the game is going. Boy, it is getting obliterated. Lol. I am a day one player, and I must say that the game is getting old, or either I am getting old. My interest is slowly going down the drain. Anyway, I just wanted to share the info. Have fun and play of gamers.

6 RepliesYou make an interesting point that I thought of the other day. I haven't played in a while and I thought "is it just because I'm old" which was kind of a scary thought. The truth is probably a mixture of both. At the same time, I'm always curious about how many of us on the forums were Day 1 people and how many of us existed on the forums when Destiny was just a whisper of excitement. If the answer is "most of us" then Bungie should be somewhat worried about their core audience based off of the general vibe of these forums, lol.

2 RepliesEdited by CORPERATE COMMANDER: 5/24/2023 11:37:53 AMYeh d2 streamers have a thing with overhypeing mediocre content . Try darksideroyalty he can be quite funny sometimes I don't always agree with him but atleast he roasts bungie sometimes

Their livelihood DEPENDS on the game doing 'well'... Have anyone in the gaming community ever heard of the term conflict of interests?? This is why I say that streamers were/are a huge part of the downfall of gaming.

Twitch kills video games. Games are no longer fun. Pvp games

You gave them what they wanted by watching at all
-
Well the main light/dark storyline has been dragged out now for 5+ years with no real answers lol
-
Well if the streamers don't get excited all the time Bungie will stop sending out those press kits to them. * Today many streamers just got a new one from them.

1 ReplyBungie give streamers what they want in return they don’t ever criticise their overlords … most of the good takes are to be found on the forum

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - old
Streamers are paid to play the game. It’s their income source. They tend to gloss over the -blam!- and try to make a silk purse from the sows ear that Bungie provides. People on the forum pay for the game. They tend not to be happy when they’ve paid for something that’s not as good as it should be. That’s the difference. -
2 RepliesSellouts gonna sellout. I prefer the ugly truth over pretty lies any day.

1 ReplyLmao of course cause that entices braindead people to click. It just works. "Check out this insane weapon!" "This gun is like no other!" "You need to farm for this NOW!" Etc.etc. Amd you'll see tens or even hundreds of thousands views. 90% of time, you'll never see them using that "insane" weapon ever again or ever talking about it. Even after all these years, people are still falling for it. Tells you all you need to know about IQ of an average person...

1 ReplyMost streamers rely on one game for their income. So they have to swallow the ugly truth to continue. Which to me makes no sense but this day and age people just kiss azz.
-
3 RepliesIt's their job to play the game. If they don't hype it, no one will play. If no one plays, no one watches. POS streamer is forced to find a new game to ruin/exploit.

The season seems pretty cool so far. What do you mean by the dlc?
-
1 ReplyCan't form your own opinions?
-
3 RepliesOn one hand YouTuber will overhype anything On the other the only people who comment on. The forums are the ones who complain The players who are happy stay away from This place

6 RepliesPretty telling that the first thing you did was go watch a "youtube stream video" instead of just playing the game and forming your own opinion. lol
