I was really looking forward to the return of Titan.
Edit: "Why do you want another patrol space to ignore????" It's not just the patrol space. Strikes associated with Titan and more legend lost sectors in rotation were what I was hoping for.
Also, the intent of the content vault was to eventually bring everything back. If Titan returned then all we'd be missing is Io and then the Red War campaign could be brought back.

It's especially "bungie-esque" that it read: "New Destination Unlocked: Neptune" Seriously, Bungie, what the hell are you smoking? Please share. It's apparently amazing stuff.
-
Why? So you could explore it for 10 minutes and then never return unless it’s for a quest?

10 RepliesThis new update blurs the line between reimagining and false advertising by Bungie. They promised us a return to Titan. The content is based within the Titan worldspace at the New Pacific Arcology, granted. However, all the original locations/structures were removed and repurposed for this new activity. There is no Patrol. This isn't a true return to Titan, and shouldn't have been advertised as one.
-
I would've preferred the Strikes associated with Titan returning.

I’m genuinely very surprised that so many were thinking Bungie was going to bring back Titan in its full form for Season 21. I feel these people haven’t been paying attention to the lack of passion/lack of effort Bungie has been putting into their content since TWQ. I knew as soon as I seen the trailer that Titan would be another Mars - it would just have a node for a social area to interact with Sloan, a node to launch the seasonal activity, & a node to launch the dungeon. Once Final Shape comes Titan will be complete removed from the game (again, after you paid for it twice) & the new dungeon will be in the Legends tab.

8 RepliesMore lies. More greed. More laziness. If this disgraceful lazy greedy digital dress seller, that has peddled lie after lie, baffling decision after baffling decision, bug after bug, a pathetic dress seller that has itself said it doesn't want to overdeliver...frankly it's on you if you expected anything other than lies, dross, BS and disappointment. Disgusting company. Pathetic game. Moronic fanbase.

1 ReplyWhy would you want another patrol zone anyway, what's the appeal? We're still complaining about the last one they added.
-
1 ReplyIt’s a never ending cycle for the forums. Recycled content comes back and people complain. Brand new areas on a old planet comes back and people complain. Having a totally never used area is something I’d rather have then getting titan back as it once was. Nostalgia is addictive, and a hell of a drug. Be careful.
-
It’s all GB now with bungie and it’s unfortunate because they wanna make sure it’s reduced and the fact that the whole planet is that is why I’m heart broke about it too and wish it would return fully maybe final shape could change that but we don’t know that yet

16 RepliesEdited by DZA: 5/24/2023 5:12:24 AMMany of you all really set your expectations WAY TO HIGH for destiny these days..🤣🤣 You should have known 1. reskin content 2. Horde mode for the 100th time 3. 1/3 of the planetary destination 4. the same old crap with a fresh coat of paint Set your expectations very, very low, n you won't be disappointed.
-
Titan was one of the worst destinations in the game so I really don't think it's a bad thing that it wasn't returned in full.
-
I was also looking forward to exploring Titan again. It's pretty disappointing overall
-
1 ReplySpecially since we paid for it twice right? 🤦🏿
-
27 RepliesThey're also doing a crap job explaining its return

4 RepliesYeah I'm with you. I loved Titan for a number of reasons but the huge atmospheric tidal seas, the unstable creaking rigs and the general feeling of 'theres gotta be something down there right?' kept me hooked. So much untapped potential that I thought would be expanded upon this season. I honestly looked forward to the return of Titan and the release of 'The Deep' because I thought (or presumed) it would be expansive, especially due to the title. But for once, I decided to do something that I've never done before.... I held back on purchasing anything until I knew what I was getting. Glad I did, and this time for the first time ever, I'll wait to see how this season goes down before I commit. Like you I played the first campaign/mission and looked forward to getting back into a free-roam to explore the new Titan but no, it wasn't to be. I have loved this game for many years but I can't help but feel that all the time, money and dedication is slowly but surely getting less and less appreciated and that we are now being milked dry at every opportunity so, meh, I'll sit back and let the community pass it's judgement before I fork out again. For those of you who have purchased, I hope it's an immersive experience that is well and truly worth it. Keep us informed eh! enjoy. 👊😎

Same honestly, but I don't recall them ever saying it was, also this game is barely holding together as it is, one more physical destination would have probably been even more chaos for the game.
-
1 ReplyI absolutely agree. I thought it would be like the Leviathan from last year, giving us a patrol zone to play in.
-
I’d have to agree. I always loved roaming around on Titan. I hope they change their mind and bring it back.
-
1 ReplySame, honestly. Maybe it’s a precursor for the full zone returning, but I was genuinely looking forward to exploring Titan for nostalgia sake. Especially considering Titan (and everywhere else) went away when I had a PS4, and I was looking forward to upgraded visuals and spaces on PS5. I will say, they never straight up said, “Titan is coming back as a fully playable and explorable zone”, so it’s more on me for setting the expectation that there would be. That said, it does look like they leaned the teasers and trailers toward that impression… And they also didn’t explicitly say it wasn’t coming back in full. Which means it may come back or it may not. Here’s to hoping.

2 RepliesEdited by More Power: 5/25/2023 1:23:50 PMIt’s going to be interesting to see how Bungie ends D2. I fully expect everything I paid for through the years, including the complete Titan destination and story.
-
They never said it would come back as a patrol though I wish it would have
-
What you just now realized this and not weeks ago??? Think of Mars, the Leviathan, the Dreadnaught, heck even the Cosmodrome, which while is brought back better then Mars. You should all have been as pissed as I was weeks ago, knowing that BUNGO CAN'T BOTHER TO CARE AND ACTUALLY HATES THEIR PLAYERS! Not that I'm upset or anything. Oh wait was that me yelling?
-
32 RepliesNot to mention it was extremely deceptive marketing
-
2 RepliesIt was a lil surprising that it didn't come back as Wraithborn invested limited destination, but I personally wasn't bothered. I keep telling you guys what Destiny actually is and to rein in those expectations.
-
5 RepliesA full planet to do what on? Kill the 2 enemies that spawn in per area, some boring -blam!- 6 year old public event, and open a chest that drops 46 glimmer?
-
Yeah it was. I was also under the impression that there would be free roam diving areas, like diving areas to explore in patrol, but since there is no patrol at all on Titan, that clearly isn't going to happen. They did the same thing with Titan that they did with Mars, basically.
