Dolby Atmos on Xbox
Has anyone else noticed an issue specifically with the Dolby Atmos Audio setting for Xbox?
I'm using a Xbox Series X with a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos speaker and theatre setup and have noticed that when the Audio is set to Dolby Atmos through the Xbox I do not get sound from the surround or ceiling speakers, only the main front channels.
I've check the Atmos Demo on Xbox along with other apps and games and the they all produce sound as they should, I only lose audio to these speakers in Destiny 2.
When I change the audio in the Xbox to anything else such as 7.1 uncompressed then all speakers gain audio in game.
I've restarted the game and hard restarted the console but nothing allows sound to the surround and ceiling channels when the Xbox is set to Dolby Atmos.
Just wanted to raise attention and see if anyone else has experienced similar issues.

Bumping this, but at this point I have absolutely no faith in Bungie ever acknowledging, let along fixing, this issue. It has been more than a year now, and total radio silence.... Best, Endy.

Getting the same issue. With Dolby Atmos enabled I get no sound from the rear speakers. If I set it to Dolby Digital I get sound.

Is there no way to have some official answer to this? Come on... It has been months. I've also tried to raise the issue on twitter (Here: https://twitter.com/Endyamon/status/1701683171908018441 ) But the tweet got completely ignored. Best, Endy.

Bump. Hoping this gets fixed eventually. 9.2.4 system, only stereo when playing D2. The Atmos upmix in Destiny was fantastic.

Just wanted to bump this topic as the issue is still present even after last weeks update. Would really appreciate some confirmation that this is a known problem and is being looked at.
