Public events should not make the fishing pool disappear.
Just maxed out the focus on the pool and then boom public event despawns it.

1 ReplyI managed to get the pond to max and it didn't change anything, I still got a lot of greens, some blues, very little purples and zero exotics. Wtf is the point of maxing out the pond if you still mostly get greens? At that point blues should become the base level fish

It's alright, give it a month of everyone working hard to get it and they'll either reduce the amount needed for the challenge and triumphs or they'll auto complete it for us...

It was bad enough when people cared more about racing little hover bikes than new content for the actual game. I mean I guess it was inevitable, players seem to want fishing in everything, but come on.

It’s to inflate play time by having people wait before they can afk fish more

they should at least when its the special fishing spot of the day or whatever make other public events less likely to spawn in that area

It does it almost at the exact moment you max focus, happened to me three times today. If it stayed around perhaps we'd get a few exotic fish. I got one today and it yielded a mid 60's Lorelei and an Ascendent Shard, that was pretty nice

This is actually funny, this right here tells you how they don't have any talent working for them anymore and that they end up taking "their ideas" from other games🤦♂️ So instead of taking the player base money and investing it into fixing all the broken crap in this game, to at least try to improve the game to improve the player experience knowing how bad they screwed up over the years being on their own. Let's waste that money, time, and manpower on a stupid idea that shouldn't even be in this game. Typical "Bungie"

Me and my buddies had it at full focus and a public event spawned and took all of our focused fishing away, pretty annoying.

Ideally the pool not disappearing would be great or at least allow 20 seconds after the new pool spawns for you to pick up your focus. Also the PE that leaves the orbs behind keeps the focus from progressing new ponds.

I mean it really just shouldn’t remove the fishing focus. Leaving the instance should do that, not the pond moving.

Pretty much lol it's also pointless to fish the pond as well if multiple people aren't there seeing it takes ages to hit max focus by yourself
