I personally can’t stand the set up or the feel of it. I just doesn’t feel like it has any personality and I can’t stand that futuristic vibe to it. Give me a zone where it feels like your roaming around outdoors and all the landscape that comes with it.
I understand they put a lot into making it but it just doesn’t feel very good to me. Some how it feels bland but busy in its layout. Drove me away from the game for over a month there for a while because I just didn’t want to do anything there.
Anyone else?

2 RepliesEverything is overtuned and listening to the npc voices is annoying especially in Terminal Overload
-
Enemy density is too low. It’s dead outside of public events. Enemy health too high. All in all it’s just a crappy patrol zone.
-
2 RepliesWith one shot kill threshers and interceptors, I have a hard time too.

1 ReplyThe whole Neomuna thing just doesn't fit in the Destiny world where a whole civilization on multiple planets suddenly disappeared and was destroyed by the mysterious darkness of the collapse. It would have made more sense to have found some super-secret Golden Age military base or deep underground tunnel complex that was completely cut off and that was why nobody, not even Rasputin, knew it was there. A futuristic city of static blobs, empty spaces and silver surfers doesn't even begin to interest me. I've only gone there a handful of times and got tired of it pretty quick. I'll just stick with the EDZ.

2 RepliesIf I do I make sure dialogue is muted so I don’t need to hear that cloudstrider idiot
-
I dont like it either. Hardly other people there, it's just empty and boring as it is
-
1 ReplyCould do with a fishing spot
-
But the exotic drops in the vex incursion zone is definitely worth it!

1 ReplyI love the retro futuristic style that they were going with... and that is about where my love for it ends. It just isn't very interesting, like the DLC attached to it.
-
Yeah, it has an awful feeling to it. It's a shame because neptune was always held as this very secretive place that was off our radars. It was full of mystery. We show up and its just kinda bland everywhere. The lost sectors are lame as hell, the patrol zones are uninspired, there is no verticality to the play space, the public events are all overturned because of the difficulty. I just stick to europa for my patrol needs. Its far from perfect but its the best thing we have until bungie wants to finally make something decent
-
Join all the others of a similar mind, its an appalling place. I just need one interaction with that wining idiot Nimbus and leave.
-
Of all the patrol locations, it's probably my favourite. Or rather, I dislike it the least...

Edited by FeralSoul: 5/24/2023 10:51:14 AMNeptune/Neonuma is a horrible planet...hate everything about it.
-
I love how dumb the characters are. Like that little “skate” they have makes me cringe hard af

1 ReplyI honestly feel bad for the team that designed the zone, because it's always empty. I never find anyone there while on patrol, to do public events, etc. With the red border drop rates already being garbage, there's almost no reason to go there unless you are still working on certain quests. I honestly spend more time in the Cosmodrome, lol.
-
Especially as they severely nerfed red border drops. No point in going there whatsoever
-
I completed the triumphs there and dont plan to return.

3 RepliesNobody likes it. It's the first location in Destiny franchise history that I lost interest in before the campaign was over. It's shallow. It has no atmosphere. It's patrols take too long to complete. It's NPC talks like a particularly boorish tween.

My biggest problem with Neomuna is the lack of NPC's. It makes the place look dead despite all the neon aesthetic, which I genuinely liked. But, no, the real reason for me to not go back is because I have no objectives or goals that make me want to go back. So, I won't go back just for funsies because their mobs are too powerful and that's just not fun for me to get one shot for no tangible rewards.

1 ReplyEdited by sportsguy: 5/24/2023 2:00:51 AMIt's a very cold, empty feeling place.
-
I disagree, I think it's pretty obvious they put the bare minimum into it. A city is just a bunch of rectangles, then decorated with God awful colours. We thought we were going to space to fight aliens, turned out we got a reskinned map for $100

1 ReplyPrevious worlds were generally very well done, artistically. The labyrinths on the moon were especially well done. But Neomuna looks like the cityscape backdrop for a Japanese anime movie.
-
1 ReplyTo me neomuna is a failure because i expected to play in a city With grapple points everywhere so i can feel like spiderman. In the end we just got a generic patrol zone with an annoying layout and nothing to do there. Doesnt feel like a futuristic city at all
-
4 RepliesThe main reason I have to go there is for red borders. And they don’t drop.
-
Kind of reminds me of the city HALO ODST took place in, only without any of the fun.
