Worse DLC ever!
Destiny 2 has become a boring and an unplayable game. From super difficult GMs that are almost impossible to complete to trash mods that do not provide adequate protection...oh, lets not forget about the nerfed supers that do minor damage to bosses.
Increasing game difficulty is not the answer to a dying game Bungie. It's only a desperate attempt to keep gamers interested in playing a dead game. Obviously It's not working Bungie...you need to do better than that!!
If supers are nerfed, difficulty exponentially increased, and mods are trash, you already going into any activity at a significant disadvantage. Why would anybody would want to complete a difficult activity after dying numerous times. I quit the activity because it makes the activity boring and frustrating.
I've played lots of GMs in the past because I'm a solo player and you're kind of shut out of other team oriented activities. This season I played 0000 GMs because of Bungie's difficulty increase. I refuse to give Bungie anymore of my valuable time playing all this difficult activities.
TRIALS Matching system is still trash. The other day I played like 10 games in trials and won 2 rounds. 2 rounds in 10 matches... how's is that even possible! The system kept having us playing against high skilled players and teams...this was my first time playing trails the entire season. Another activity I stopped playing and was shut out of.
Oh..if you look around, most players' ranking level is 7. I wonder why Bungie....LOL

I mean I get it but this sounds like mad cuz bad I’m debating being done cuz im bored and they made changes that make it worse for me. Gms last season where not that bad. Trials…. Well it’s trials I don’t play trials cuz I am bad. There’s just nothing rewarding bout the game rn been that way since they decided to do 3 month seasonal content and just rehash the grind while making one new activity that gets worn out quick and is tied to seasonal challenges and titles…. It’s the same thing every season and now it’s even worse

The GM's these past 3 seasons have been absolutely fine, not sure where you struggled. I had a blast gilding conqueror and helping others do the same 🤷

It's clear you only started playing in Lightfall because Curse of Osiris was WAY worse.

I’ll be honest. I’ve been playing since the D1 beta. I’ve never be so unexcited for a dlc to drop in this game ever. I’ll only play because I spent $100 for this dlc and don’t like wasting my money. :(

Trials is basically only sweats. So ya. Gms seemed hard but they are do able especially with strand. Glasway was very doable vs prior seasons imo

Bungie really s[b]h[/b]it the bed here. DO NOT BUY, even the loot is all mid. & like the whirling dervishes and destiny 2 whispers claimed if they re-release spare rations they will s[b]h[/b]it on its perk pool like mindbenders, were sadly correct. Maybe the dungeon will be good. But if you made a person with 5k+ hours of actual play time log out in 30mins... you got problem. Might log back in for pvp some time later this week but thats about it. My advise pour gasoline on this fire in any way. This out of touch supposed AAA gaming company needs to get back in touch with its gamers.

19 Repliesapparently everyone hates new people. it's extremely unfriendly and there is no support. i've been in 5 clans who said "newbie friendly" and none were. i never played any of the low level missions with any clan mate. if you don't do Dungeons and Raids you get ignored. i am so bored of playing d2 because i can do only a limited subset of missions and i know them by heart now. anything else i get deleted instantly. 7% win rate on crucible :( why should i play D2?

Have you tried Root of nightmare? You can easily one hit Melee any of the red bars in the raid.

2 RepliesUmm, as someone who has gilded Conqueror 8 times, Gm were actually easier since Lightfall because 1) suspend is borderline op and 2) you take 25% increased damage as opposed to 50. And it’s also very rich to complain about roaming super nerfs literally a day before they’re all supposed to receive substantial buffs. The only content that saw substantial difficulty increase are Neomuna Patrol and Legend and Master content. Everything else is still a walk in the park. I really don’t like being that guy, but if you ran as many GMs as you say you have, and yet you’re complaining about the change in difficulty … git gud.

All new content could of been good but bungie nerfed to hard and buffed ads and on top of that respawning ads none stop is a complete fail. Trash new content GM's that if you dont cheese its a wipe. Very poor design and unplayable. They should throw all that content out . Its seems so cheap to be playing a new GM that ads constantly respawn . Then they nerf and nerf ,when they should be buffing everything accross the board 40% just to play this nonsense. And trials is a complete joke with only one way to get to the light house playing cheaters none stop along the way. It means nothing for my clan to be gilded anymore when we have to cheese everything because the game is so unbalanced and unplayable. This isnt a game anymore its a money grab from bungie.
