An exotic should be guaranteed after five runs of a Lost Sector.
It’s utterly ridiculous. In fact, it really ought to be guaranteed for EVERY run. And I’m not going to lie, while I’m able to complete these lost sectors, not everyone can. People with disabilities aren’t going to be able to get these new exotics. And that’s not fair. Why can’t Xur just sell them?

Should be 2 runs for an exotic… as a casual I hate repetitive grind and love easy loot

The other day I ran 6 with no drops, came back an hour later and got 4 from my first 5 runs. My record is 14 drops in a day. They're there, you just have to work it. Some days they just don't drop. I've had luck changing characters. If they still don't after 6 runs, I give up.

I now have all 3 exotic Hunter legs, after spending a couple of short hours running the sector this morning, yesterday, the three chests...the drop rate is fine. Learn the sector of the day, you'll get there.

Or a close option would be to bring back glass needles , and have them drop from lost sector clears , with more dropping on master , so you will eventually get to reroll one you already have And Xur could sell the new Exotics for needles on the weekend

[b](This game needs an actual developer,)[/b] that knows how to create mechanics and can come up with new ideas with each lost sector. This copy-and-paste work this business has literally overdone with this game is really freaking stupid at this point, and they do it with most of their activities 🤦♂️

The only reason they’re so tedious now is because of the insane power requirements. They can still be completed sub 5 minutes - the problem is it’s a lot more difficult to get the power level to do that now. The power level needs to be scaled back and if there’s any guarantee it should be after 6 runs not 5. Legendary is about a 25% drop rate. 5 runs is pretty much in line with that. Drop protection should be a pity not the average.

No funny... I haven't entered a list sector to farm anything for a long while... Im so geared at this point gear doesn't even matter. I just farm Assway GM and get both exotics and whatever weapon for that week...

Because then it doesn't feel rewarding for the players that literally grind for the exotics.

Nah. A real problem that awaits next season however is that there seems to be no synergy between their exotic engram system and Lost Sectors. Which feels like a missed opportunity but we shall see!

I personally think lost sectors should have had the original concept of lore tied behind them. Or the concept of having unique types of enemies. Like Giant thralls/ life draining wizards, Rouge bands of Fallen led by Mischievous Dregs, super phalanxes with shields like in D1, Taken Wyverns, Or Vex enemies who actually can use things like stasis (i mean their time traveling robots who experience multiple timelines. They can do it)

1 ReplyThey have also added in the Vex Strike Force to get exotics. Starting with any you don’t have. However that is a very random chance the event happens when you are playing. Moreover it starts and other guardians are around to help.

I think you should be guaranteed a drop on master but farming should be required to get one with the stats you want. Or if they want to keep it the way it is, you should be able to choose which exotic you get out of the available ones for that day. It’s extremely annoying to play it multiple times just to get one of the crap exotics. Then you have to play it again and again till you’ve gone through the whole cycle of exotics to get to the one you want.

10 RepliesMaster lost sectors are still a complete waste of time. And if you happen to be on a lost sector where you’re forced to use double primary just skip it. There is nothing enjoyable about them. Artificially inflated play time.

7 RepliesYesterday I must've done 15 lost sectors and I got about 8 exotics, I couldn't believe it! Of course they were all completely garbage, but at least they were dropping.
