Earning "Artifice Armor" as your first drop blocks you from unlocking the item in Ornaments PERMANENTLY... Please fix this... It's been months.
Check your collections you might be missing ones too.
So far I am missing the Spire Hat & Deep Explorer Boots, who knows how many more, those are the two sets I have checked so far....
The items are unlocked in Collections & Badges. They don't show in Recently Discovered once you earn the artifice armor first.

Yea!!! And I'm able to get 10k legendary shards in minutes. It gives 1000x legendary shards instead. Hurry, fix it bungie!!!

3 RepliesJust happened to me today. Returning player for LF that finally got the Spire cloak with 2 weeks left in the season, obviously a new dungeon coming so I was excited. Used it until I got the Grasp cloak artifice today. I figured now I can finally delete the cloak so I can have the ornament. Boy was that a mistake.. Apparently. No where to be found in ornaments. Go to orbit, restart game, everything short of pc restart. Had me silly. What's funny is, there's a comment below stating (like a smartass of course), "does this cost them money" or something along those lines. And yes, it does, I have no synthweave template atm so if I HAD the ornament I would go buy 300 silver to get 1. Oh wait, I need to buy 500 which is another $5. Stonks. (Yes, I know new season, new reset of synthweave but idc. You dont take a (wo)mans hat.) A fix is needed asap. I'm especially bummed out now knowing the drop rate is in the toilet and its going out of rotation.. Speaking of toilets, I'm gonna be near one until this is fixed. Ughhhhhh

I 100% agree. Bungie really needs to fix this. There is no reason at all to keep you from using these things as an ornament. I have the cowboy hat for my warlock I can’t get. This should be an easy fix. Makes no sense

Edited by noz: 5/19/2023 5:32:00 PMI think unlocking the artifice armor first may also block you from getting the armor to drop period. I did a master run of Grasp of Avarice and got just about every armor piece in the set for the first time. Although I unlocked multiple pieces, only the arms show up in recently discovered. So now when I rerun the dungeon I only get arms as a drop, if armor drops. Edit: I think my issue is actually unrelated to this. I just need to do the normal dungeon each week I guess.
