New Account Non offensive name Wont Change Please Help
please help me My account originally was G1NKIG1RL and was that for well over a year, I went away for a while and Now its been changed To Guardian... MADE NEW ACCOUNT. my EPIC Games and Steam have been using this name just fine. When I logged in on my first main account it said it was changed but I could change it on the website... go to the website it wont change.. the only explanation given is that it was offensive or didnt mean their policy.
after trying to change it for an hour I decided to Just make a new account and linked my epic games account. Now its doing the same thing... There was no warning or anything and now I'm practically in tears because not only was I not given any warning that my account name was against policy but I cant even change it, DESPITE one of the suggestions BUNGIE gives for a name is exactly the same thing that I originally had! it also wont let me change my avatar or add any profile information!
Please if anybody can help I would appreciate it

Allo there, The naming system will pull your account name from one of your connected accounts, this doesn't mean it's allowed it's just auto populated by the site. You'll need to try another name. Keep in mind that just because the name was fine for X amount of time doesn't mean it is allowed nor will Bungie notify you if the name isn't allowed.

1 Replywell somebody must be looking out for me... It suddenly allowed me to change my name so I named it after my Dog and it worked....feel free to lock down the thread.
