At the very least try it out in labs. It’d be great to have a mode that focussed on gunplay.

What's super funny is when this request gets kicked around, as it does from time to time, all it does is attract the .5 Jims that get five kills a game, all from their super or spamming abilities. I think it would be fun, personally, and would not hurt anyone since it wouldn't be mandatory to play like any other mode, but yeah you're just gonna have a lot of knuckledraggers shooting it down because they'd get railed if they can't start every fight with an ability.

I’ll never understand how people can get so bent by someone asking for a gamemode in a game severely lacking gamemodes. Like party gamemodes just shouldn’t exist in the eyes of some of these people.

And they do not want skilled people to have a playlist for themselves. They have already ruined comp and trials to give noobs a chance to reach top ranks and even lighthouse. Bungie went from a company that had a infection, race, fiesta mode, grifball, Swat, MLG, King of the Hill, BTB, Action Sack all in a FPS to "you will have only 3 games only and you will like them." And their player base is now filled with zero imagination bots who say "SpAcE mAgIc HahA duurrrr"

I'm all for it but tbh I'm sure most people wouldn't play the mode since barely anyone is able to enter a gunfight without spamming all their abilities first. Though this gamemode would be very nice to have, I wouldn't see it being populated much. But hey, cool idea tho
