Stompees nerf is very out of touch.

The reason of nerf'ing stompees because "targeting Hunters in PvP very difficult on controller" I feel like is very far from the reason they are used. If you are a good pilot of warlock and titan you are far faster then a hunter can hope to be. If you main warlock or titan and cant beat a hunter to lane sorry to say but you are not skilled at character movement manipulation. & this is a core reason of stompees use, as so a hunter is no longer at a extreme disadvantage it terms of movement vs the other 2 classes. But just complaining with no answer how this problem could be solved is not very constructive. So why not disable the benefit to jump while dodge is on cool down but leave sprint and slide untouched? This solves the problem of of the difficulty of targeting a hunter on controller. But this wont be well received by the community, as I am in essence calling out 80%+ of the warlock and titan player base for for being bad at playing ther class. Heres some key terms you can research if you want to improve your game play: stair skate, scroll wheel skate/jump, bunny hop, icarus sword skate(no you dont need ammo).

 • It's annoying for sure, but I personally don't think the majority of us will notice the nerf much. We have many, many different builds and passives (like lightweight bonus, artifice armour, some mods, etc.) that give us our dodge recharge fairly quickly. I don't think it's unfair to have to be more consciously aware and strategic to use your dodge for appropriate occasions, versus just spamming it (not to mention, there's subclass fragments/aspects that give you benefits with dodge too, it's arguably too powerful by a margin) between and during engagements. And speaking of engagements--extra sprint/slide/jump height isn't too much of an advantage once bullets start flying. Outside of sliding into engagements, there's other perks and all to give the play some strafe speed for your gunfights, and really, what are you using the extra jump height for? The longer you're in the air, the more exposed you are. Sliding mid engagement is risky as it is, unless you have a shotgun, but if they're already shooting at you, that's up to the player whether or not they want to continue the engagement. And again, there's already loads of subclass buffs tied to dodge. Right now, I've got the new exotic legs that give you the refreshable buff to reload speed and handling--combine that with solar hunter's trance AND perks like perpetual motion and all, that's a lot of freebies for a single input that's spammable. Invis, auto reload/melee recharge, radiant, reaper, etcetera. And they're removing AE penalties from Stompeez--huge improvement alone. For more movement speed, jump height, even tighter turn radius, and slide, I think it's fair that it being active only while the ability in question has a charge is more than fair. No other class can contest Stompeez's agility kit, especially up close. Titans might have their pocket twilight garrison and charges, and Warlocks might have their skate, but for evasion-movement tech, Stompeez is near uncontested. Free buffs with constant uptime--just don't be spammy.
