I have never bought silver. No reason to and no matter how much money i have, spending it on cosmetics is a huge waste of money. On the other hand, you have the 2IQ whales who'll spend money on anything. No helping those lost souls. But it's their money and none of my business.

Don't quote me on this, but from what I've heard from people I've met who work at gaming studios is that the companies make money on licensing the game out to platforms - exceptions being games like WoW which require DLC and subscriptions. Bungie has already been paid by the likes of Steam, PS, or XBOX. Anything you buy may provide a small commission, but at the end of the day, if you ask for a refund for any purchase...Bungie will automatically divert you to the platform you play on.
