Genuinely incredible what brain gymnastics some of us have been going through to cope with the fact that CBMM is showing you how truly bad at the game we are.
You win some and you lose some,CBMM is really random so if you’re constantly losing no matter what you do it means you’re consistently worse than everyone else.
Personally I love CBMM because it shows me how much better or worse other people are and I never feel cheated because there’s little to no lag ever.
I’d much rather lose and get better at the game than play against laggy players all the time,it was my biggest problem with the game in comp/trials because there was always someone lagging and it would make lose or make matches take longer.
Most of the people complaining about CBMM are complaining about quickplay but dude if you’re 1 out of 12 people and you’re the one bottom fragging and getting mercy’d constantly that might mean you should get better at the game.
Better to win and lose than to deal with lagging players.

1 ReplyConnections should be the priority. Most people complaining about cbmm are the people who only play 3 games a week for the pinnacle anyway.

How can you say that bungies CBMM is anywhere close to fair. They use a p2p connection that isnt stable to start with. If they had real servers it would be one thing but their so called server is trash. They can not make a stable connection using a p2p connection. So when bungie uninserts their head from their a$$ and use real servers they will never be stable!!!

3 RepliesNot too many people understand the “git gud” concept. Im glad you are one of the few that actually realizes cbmm is better. I would argue sbmm could work but unless we get dedicated servers and flawless games where there is no lag, cbmm is just plain better in destiny.

1 ReplyHonestly thought that you were gonna tell us that it's a good day to go out and grill some burgers and I'm not sure why
-
Oh I can’t wait for all the scrubs to post all the hate here hahaha.
-
1 ReplyQuickplay is wild at the moment! Just don’t understand people who take quickplay seriously! I play Quickplay for fun and in small doses only .
-
5 RepliesThis is a case of schizophrenia and people being hypocrites especially those who vouch for SBMM.
-
2 RepliesCbmm made me realize pvp can be fun I never had so much fun in 6v6 since forsaken. Sbmm and mercy rules everywhere really made pvp feel bad. (Yeah ik getting stomped feels bad as well...so...leave ?)

2 RepliesAren’t burgers dead already?
-
5 RepliesCBMM is better in general, but I do wish they had some form of FTMM implemented. Stacks shouldn't match a whole team of solos, makes the score 150-20.
-
7 RepliesPeople don't want to get better at the game. They want free handouts and forced wins.
-
1 ReplyHas nothing to do with connection , players want a casual time stomping bots with there friends, if Bungie ever got dedicated servers , the PvP elite would still cry for unseperated matchmaking pools High skilled PvP players are so hypocritical it's sad , and everyone can see there true intentions, all about there own experience, f everyone else

1 Replylisten I don't even care all that much about winning, I know you need to be challenged to grow. BUT, no growth is promoted when you pretty consistently get matched with people so so so much better than you. It needs to be incremental, you cant grow and get better when the people you're playing almost never miss and have top tier movement cause you are just always dead. I just want to have fun in the crucible, have some engagements that push my limits that can help me get better. I don't want to spend 90% of the game getting dunked on by God himself between the few times I run into the guy who is similar skill and I've traded kills on and off with. With cbmm i have encountered wayyyyy more players I literally can't kill unless I have four other people standing on a lane. Can't put a 4th grader in with the high school football team and expect them to "get good" while the high schoolers aren't holding back. Just my two cents from someone who used to be pretty good but took a lot of time off and is now pretty new to MnK

1 ReplyEdited by DiReCtFX: 5/13/2023 3:38:34 AMSorry but you just invalidated you whole post when you said “there’s little to no lag” with CBMM . Both SBMM & CBMM have lag because destiny’s servers are horrible . Just stop with extra clickbait trying make it like CBMM is miraculously is lag free . Stop lying 🤦♂️

personally, I prefer SBMM, was raised off of it and got a good understanding of what to do and is still doing a lot of that for me, your free to like what ever you do but this is just my take on it Personally, I don't actually care about winning or losing, as its never really my focus the game can end how ever it wants, but I just want to play for fun and CBMM, does not do it for me, I don't like stomp matches, as in partaking in the stomp or being stomped, as its not really an enjoyable concept for me if I can just stop doing anything and watch as my team does all the work or worse I join a match that is ending to the point I join and it instantly says "defeat" on my screen, great fun connection when I cant even play the game SBMM was always the area I liked, as it has taught me a few things I use in trials even got called a trash aim bot once (this was just me vs a titan who I kept finding in the same spot) but end of the day, I still got a lot to learn and a lot of other people do as well and learning is not a fast process, it can take days, weeks or years it took me a while to get decent at the game, but as it did, I started to realise "to get better, I just need to learn the map, the areas that are the best and sticking with team mates and most importantly, relax" not everyone can learn from facing better people, to some its discouraging to others it can inspire, but in a game that new people can join for free, do you want them to just ignore half a game cause they have a chance to learn nothing and stop playing it?

11 RepliesEdited by WildFire: 5/11/2023 10:15:27 AMThe mental gymnastics people will go to, to avoid playing people their own skill level is astonishing to me. You might as well just tell everyone you have a small peen & care way too much about your stats, & call it a day. CBMM has & always will, benefit the upper echelon players (or let's be real, the 80%+ that use Chronos Zen & will never admit it, & keep pretending they're legit). SBMM benefits the majority of the player base, which ..news flash...the only reason this game is still active is because of those people...the 95% casuals that get beat up on, are the ones responsible for this game still existing right now & not being completely dead. One day you'll release that streamers & the upper echelon 1% contribute -blam!- all to the sales of the game. Fyi, the whole "I'd rather lose & get better at the game" mantra that's championed by you types of players that basically want CBMM so you can beat up on lesser players... It's a very convenient position to have & always exposes the fact that you have absolutely nothing to be proud of in your real life. Most people play video games to escape & have fun, not "get elite at them"... Thats because most of us have actual hobbies in real life, or things that are more important to think about improving (whether it's education, skillset, language ability, etc) Anyone that has the argument "if you don't like CBMM it's because you don't want to get better at things" is just a lying piece of trash that has nothing in their life except the video games, & no matter how you try to deny it, that's the reality.

I'd rather play against players of my own skill set and get better against those cos I can actually fight back (with no lag mind you) than sweaty cbmm
-
1 ReplyI love burgers w/ chili, onions, coleslaw, and mustard.
-
I thought the CBMM in supremacy was great. I could casually solo and do fine no matter if we won or not. With SBMM one team is almost always stomping the other through spawntrapping and other bs. And I could actually use off meta weapons and not feel handicapped

Preach

3 RepliesPro sbmm players primary argument is for "fair matches." The irony is that sbmm creates more latency thus making engagements less fair. The irony.....
-
Cbmm and sbmm seems to be the same to me. Every match is decided before it starts and every match has that 1 player who slides around and/or teleports without using blink.
-
Lag is bungie not using actual servers. SBMM having laggy games is a side effect of that.
-
6 RepliesIt’s a casual pve game sbmm should be in pvp… most of the playerbase don’t care about getting good …

Edited by Eazy-E: 5/12/2023 2:18:52 AMI've seen some awful clips of lag and 6vs 2, idk maybe population
