Hello Bungie, Iv'e been a veteran player since Year 1 of Destiny all the way back in 2014, and I must say I thoroughly enjoy Destiny as a franchise and as a part of my life. That being said I want to support Bungie as much as the next guy who's just feining for more content. However I feel as though it's unfair to simply remove all of the Year 1 DLC of Destiny 2 Such as Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and The Forsaken Campaign. All of which I payed for full price. Now while I did play through all of these expansions and expereinced them to what I believe to be their fullest extent, and I firmly grasp the need to eliminate obsolete content for the sake of storage and new expansions, the principle of removing well over $200 worth of content with absolutely nothing to show for it and all my weapons from said content be permanently sunset and obsolete, is just simply unnacceptable. Bungie, If you see this, please formulate something to make up for this issue. I know integrity is prevelant in your company, please find a way to compensate your veteran players so that they do not feel as though they have been robbed of their money. give players silver proportionate to the amount theyve invested, bring back the weapons that have been sunset, give us vouchers for new seasons or DLC.
I know I speak for many when I say this so please address this soon thank you for reading.

I know they were given both in-game & on Bungie website/forums. They were likely also sent out via email (but can’t be certain of that since it was 2+ years ago now.

Unfortunately, I was almost cut off from the rest of the world in terms of my internet usage. I was mostly spending time reading scientific papers in between caring for my grandad. I didn't play any games for almost 4 years and I didn't look at anything to do with social media and forums. People that are active would be seeing them in the game and likely on the forums. For those of us that were busy, an email should have sufficed. I can definitely say either they never sent out an email, or I never received one. I still have emails from as far back as 2018 and just searched "Destiny" for anything. I understand content being removed after so long, but not when the game came out in 2017 and still has a playerbase. There's games from 2005 that lasted longer than that before people can no longer play it.
