Bungie,
Whatever happened to account recovs being a bannable offense?
Most matches today was just that. Players with low KDs like 0.54 playing at 2.78+
Never missing headshots.
I hope you know that with the new changes coming to the flawless title, more players will do account recovs.
Thanks.

If you think Bungie is going to do anything about this, you're fooling yourself. Hang out in the Trials LFG for an extended amount of time. There is constant advertisement posts for paid carries or people posting that they are willing to pay. All the time. Nothing happens.

Edited by Scourged One: 5/8/2023 9:14:42 PMMy son plays on my account, and my KD isn't epic. Went flawless this weekend with one game lost, because I'm not my son. So when people look at my KD and think EZCLAPS!!! they're in for a bit of a surprise once the match starts. Want me banned for that?

Lol they were never really banning recovs. I’m sure they did some here and there, but I’d be willing to bet even those were due to other reasons like actual cheating. Like the TWAB about the “accessibility devices”, they were VERY specific in how they worded it all. Sure, ok, it’s “bannable”. I can see why people don’t take them seriously, though.

So you lost to a better player no?

2 RepliesA low skilled player playing with friends or clan mate is not account recovery

8 RepliesSo what's the issue? You checked Trials report while flying in expecting one person on the opposing team to be bad for 30 seconds, and then they weren't? I dont get it.

Bungie issued a ban wave targeting those who allowed/paid for account recoveries. We are still seeing posts on the #Help forum covering this. There will unfortunately be more as people still haven't learned the lesson.

I just matched a guy who is 2.14 this week, 2 flawless already, with the flawless title flashing. And he got 1 kill that match with 0.2kda. Life time trials 0.84kd.

100% TRUE Account recoveries all over the place. You see < 1.0 kd players hitting 2.5 this week and if u look their previous seasons, they never played or just couple of seasons of trials and just around 0.5 kd So YES, account recoveries still a thing together with hardcore cheating Now let the cheaters react to this post, thats what they do to as an excuse

Just be better

12 RepliesEdited by BraddyBo: 5/6/2023 6:14:55 AMRecovs will always exist until bungie closes the loophole. Vpn’s are used to match the customers location to make it seem like the person is “playing at a friend house”. The only way to stop recovs is for bungie to require us to only play on our primary system or from a single home network, I don’t see them doing this.
