I am assuming events like these are to bring players back to the game. It just seems so bizzare to expose these casuals to the addicts and sweaty tryhards in supremacy, it will put many casuals off playing please add sbmm back to the crucible, ok thanks!

32 RepliesL take, sbmm has coddled all the bots for too long, staying in a bubble full of other bad players will never improve you skill, if anything, you're finally dealing with the damage that sbmm does, which is protecting bad players from actually getting good and picking up decent habits. Instead, they're playing with other bad players, which ultimately reinforces bad playstyles and bot behavior

1 ReplyThe elite players will complain till the casuals leave and sit around wondering why their game died, not understanding that they are the minority and still blame the casuals for being cowards
-
It was a mistake? No way! I never saw such an issue! I told you guys.

2 RepliesBungie makes PvP SBMM - people cry and whine about lag. Bungie switches PvP to CBMM - people cry and whine about getting stomped Bungie brings back SBMM - people still cry and whine about the same issues There is no pleasing the community

17 RepliesEdited by Tru: 5/3/2023 5:29:47 PMAre you insane? Sbmm ruined the player pool. It’s literally was the cause for why destiny pvp overall numbers TANKED when it was implemented. CBMM is starting to bring players back again. There’s a reason why they are going back to CBMM and it’s because it is the system MOST players prefer.
-
I’ve had a fantastic time with CBMM. People actually use interesting loadouts that aren’t Immortal. I can go into a match using whatever I want and have a fair chance, that is the raw definition of what Destiny is or at least should be. SBMM has its place, but it’s a serious turnoff when it is used in quick play. I used to play crucible often, but when they implemented SBMM I could only play a couple games before I was sick of it. The CBMM in supremacy is a huge breath of fresh air and I’m all for it

1 ReplySBMM is stupid. No reason why I should be playing a team of cheaters from the UK or China when I'm in the United States.
-
6 RepliesCasuals aren’t the player bungie should be catering to anyways
-
4 RepliesEssentially all this post says is “hey I am bad at the game and I hate the idea of other players being better than me. So can we add this feature so that I can have a better time even though everyone else won’t? I really hate losing in my 6v6 quick play mode!”
-
3 RepliesI love the cbmm. After 7k hours i can finally enjoy the game without laggy people from 4 corners of the globe teleporting. This is how it always was and always should be. I had quit. Came back for cbmm. Was impressed. I will go when it goes and come back if it comes back. Id also take sbmm and dedicated servers. But cbmm will do
-
So let me get this right...people need to stop crying because they are matched with people who are far better than them making this unenjoyable. Which is the purpose of a game. But it's ok to cry about sbmm because you have to actually play against people your own skill instead of slaughtering casuals? Do I have that right? You are telling people to stop crying while you always cry about having to play against people as good as you? Just wanted to make sure I understand.

Sbmm is what has ruined all the newer online pvp games back in the days of mw2 black ops 2 mw3 no sbmm and you could get games where you would absolutely stomp and drop easy nukes and other games you would get -blam!- on now it’s just a constant sweat fest and good luck getting any form of a nuke unless your shroud same goes for d2 trails is gona be a shambles when they change how the sbmm works cuz all the sweats are gona figure out how to stay in the lower ranked lobbys

Incorrect. This is a huge win for casuals.

From a person who has actually learned to get better at the game from a mix of CBMM (this was giving my an idea of how to experience new tricks) and a lot more with SBMM (which gave me a chance to use said tricks), I do prefer Loose SBMM not cause I am a bad player hell no one time in trials someone called me a trash aim bot as my team was losing, sure we lost the game, but this guy thought I was cheating, I personally don't know if it was cause I managed to keep a level head or just outright head shot him each time he popped his head out, I got him most of the time till he needed to put a barricade down to test while CBMM will give you a great connection, it does make me feel like each match was a lost cause or just unfair from the start (this is coming from someone who hated stomping people and hated being stomped) cause it did not feel like I improved as while killing a new light or someone not as skilled as me and felt like I was getting worse when going against someone better then me, disheartening me to want to keep playing but SBMM was not perfect either and wished they continued with the loose skill based they were going with, as it did give me matches that made me feel like I could improve at while also making me get comfortable with using weapons I normally don't use going to the sniper stuff while both systems are HEAVILY flawed, I would go for loose SBMM over strict SBMM and CBMM all together
-
Funny how it’s still laggy , still cheaters and teams very unbalanced even from start most games 6v3 all the stuff CBMM Stan’s whined about SBMM having 🤦♂️
-
1 ReplyBungie catering to the top 10% as usual.
-
3 RepliesWithout dedicated servers cbmm is the clear choice. Furthermore supremacy is more of a party game why would it need sbmm?
-
8 RepliesCBMM - preferred by majority of community. Non sweaty. Quality matches with minimal lag. SBMM - preferred by the lowest skilled players. Sweaty game play. Heavily laggy. Gee, I wonder why bungie switched back to CBMM….it wouldn’t be the fact that crucible literally lost over 60% of active players while sbmm was the system at work lol.

11 RepliesNice ratio, sbmm is killing this game. This event is nice because it's a mixed bag of people. See, people fail to understand that you aren't always going to win. Sometimes, you have an even match. Sometimes, you get stomped, and sometimes, you stomp the other team. That's just how it happens
-
sbmm is killing pvp in all games, and in a game like destiny that use p2p and people love to use bad connection is even worse
-
18 RepliesYou guys need to stop being selfish. SBMM diminishes the quality of matches for players that are decent at Destiny 2 pvp. You dont care about that aspect of matchmaking because it doesn't affect you, and personally, I think that is some real BS.

3 RepliesYou haven’t even played a single game, not to mention it’s a LTO. You still have your control playlist. Your name is speaking for itself.
-
Connection problems (shot thru walls etc)in SBMM make it difficult to get better. I prefer CBMM.
-
Control still has it right?
