People don't take damage get shot through walls people teleporting even saw bullets coming through the floor that killed me the second I spawned. It is a horrible mode with horrible match making. Also stacks of players against solo players is horrible. I have never been flawless yet everywhere I look I see adept trials weapons.

1 ReplyThe only people who like CBMM are the PvP sweats... It sucks. It's unfair and it spoils the fun of the game. Everybody should be on a equal playing field here. SBMM should be the norm in all PvP content

I haven’t been stomping any noobs, most of my games are fairly close but it also doesn’t feel incredibly sweaty like it normally does. Im having a good time, cbmm is awesome.

It's the first time in years that I haven't dreaded the thought of playing Crucible in any capacity. Yes, there are stomps every so often, but the average match is way more interesting and engaging than your typical game of Peekaboo World Championships 2023 ft. The Immortal (Adept) that every SBMM lobby is nowadays. SBMM has a time and a place, but a casual playlist is not that.

It's a fun game mode, but I can also hang with better players despite being pretty average myself. I've had a few games that were a real slog because of the seemingly complete absence SBMM. There's a balance that needs to be achieved to both be fun and casual, but also fair. Also no mercy rule makes the rough games much worse.

Why is beating others who have next to no chance against you fun? If playing legit close matches against those similar to yourself and your team is really that bad for you....sheeeesh

Agreed this is a game mode that should stay for both causal and experienced players. Way too much fun in the synergy of same class team mates.

Hmm, it is fun so far for me but I'm not sure CBMM should be the norm, much as I'd love to agree. The PvP playerbase is floundering as it is at the best of times, so Bungie need to do anything they can to force life into it, even if that means turning away the most dedicated players over the years. I sincerely hope they don't try to force SBMM into supremacy while it's here and maybe even add it to the rotator with rift and clash cause then I might actually come back to PvP every now and then. For now though, it's gonna be 3 weeks of complaints about how the game should all be only SBMM because screw the better players for just wanting to have some damn fun.
