why this is not full mmo game ?
hello all players!! many things in this game annoy me but the most annoying is that it's a typical P2W and it's not a full mmo game.
there is no real chat for communication, e.g. there are chat channels in the city that no one uses. I wanted to play eternity challenges on hard difficulty today but there is 1 problem - no matchmaking. i have no friends in this game none of my friends play it so how do i play it without matchmaking? it's not possible. if there are activities with other players like playlists of the frontguard i would like this to be fixed in the next patch so that everything that is multiplayers is him and not normal the level of these challenges is multiplayers has matchmaking and hard level has no matchmaking

It's an MMO Lite. It shares a lot of common features with your typical MMO but you don't actually see hundreds to thousands of players in a single instance barring it from being a full fledged MMO. Destiny was originally made as a console game so it lacks a lot of the social features you'd typically see in an MMO.

Someone spent an hour arguing with me last week that D2 had no MMO elements in the game and that I was ridiculous to think so. I thought I was in the Twilight Zone. Some are so sure on the forums. Loud, proud and wrong lol.

Because bungie doesn't seem to have the ability to produce content in the same context or regular cycle that an mmo does

I think it’s safe to say when the latest expansion hits 50% off, that is the time to commit. They have officially missed the mark and are completely out of touch.

Bungie plans to add an in-game LFG during Season 23. Until then, the Find Fireteam section of the bungie.net website or Destiny 2 Companion app are available.
