Turned in 100 defiant engrams. 1 red frame
This regards recovered leviathan engrams to get the swords.
Seriously. This game is a joke with its droprates. This is clearly crap and why you keep making droprates like this just baffles me.
You have had 5 years to set up any kind of bad luck protections and you still haven’t done anything about it.

As some people don’t even read the first sentence of the post, this is not about the red borders you can focus each week. This is about the recovered leviathan engrams that you cannot focus. I doubt this edit will help anyone though.

They’ve chosen s really bad time to get stingy with rewards again. An expansion launch season that wasn’t well received a year before the finale to their saga, and they want to go back to being unreasonable with rewards again. I just resent the game to some degree at the moment.

They are intentionally making drop rates abysmal to waste our time and keep the players chasing the carrot. They are ltierally feeding addiction just like slot machines. I really want more players to realize that and quit the game to signalize them that our limited lifetime is valuable.

I had 200 and something engrams, it took me about 30 pulls (60 engrams) to get all my sword frames, and about 40 (80 engrams) for my shotgun. Just bad RNG I suppose.

Bungie needs to start implementing a pity system into their drop rates. Nothing is worse than just being outright unlucky.

4 RepliesI have 218 sitting there trying to figure out what to do with them, I did 50 a while back with nothing to show. If you're still working on the red box seasonals do the legendary battle grounds, really high drop rate on them.

They will probably bump the rate or make it a daily focus once everyone done wasting their shards, engram, and time. seasonal engram=4 shards, and if this is what the first appearance looks like, it's going to get a lot worse

3 RepliesNone of the swords are worth it imo. But if you care about getting all patterns, then at the end of season save up as many swords/shotguns as you still need and wait for the system to be able to turn them into red borders. They want you to stress about it so you will play more, but if you are willing to wait a little while longer you can get them guaranteed. Though I was lucky enough to get all 3 with only a couple hundred engrams

We did it to ourselves... Don't blame Bungie, blame lazy players and vulture tubers... Unless you're down with a shards wipe, it's only going to get worse.
