VEX TASK FORCE FOR SEASONAL EXOTICS - A FAN
I am very much liking the Vex Task Force events as a means to gain seasonal exotic armor. I've done the solo legendary Lost Sectors to limited success due to the abysmal exotic drop rates.
Vex Task Force is much more satisfying. You go in as a team and work like hell to get the Super Minotaurs killed in 8 mins and you are rewarded. Teamwork is essential and there is a guaranteed REWARD for your efforts, unlike lost sectors.
WELL DONE Bungie, I am hoping you keep this event for the forseeable future.
Unfortunately there is no real rhyme or reason to the even instances, but the guaranteed rewards make it worth the inconvenience. WELL DONE.

I used the discord bot and was able to get all the new armor exotics this season without the hassle of lost sectors in two days. Bravo Bungie.

I got 9 exotics back to back on my titan and hunter took maybe 7 mins each depending on the sector and loadout. I need to start doing strike force though, does it give you any exotic or is it like lost sectors where it’s a specific one everyday?

Yes!!!! They should occur more frequently, but other than that, getting a GAURUNTEED exotic in under 6 minutes is pretty -blam!- nice

There are notifications that you can sign up for with various api servicers to give you a heads up when Vex Strikeforce is running.

4 RepliesIt sounds like a good idea when I read about it in a twab, but I only ever seen it once and my game crashed before completing it. If they added a timer/ flag similar to public events it be great.
